Barak Korren created OVIRT-1668:
-----------------------------------
Summary: Load the right tuned profile on CentOS
Key: OVIRT-1668
URL: https://ovirt-jira.atlassian.net/browse/OVIRT-1668
Project: oVirt - virtualization made easy
Issue Type: Improvement
Components: oVirt CI, oVirt Infra
Reporter: Barak Korren
Assignee: infra
Priority: High
There was a story published this weekend explaining that in CentOS, the {{tuned}} performance profile that is selected by default is probably not right for servers:
http://jperrin.org/centos/boosting-centos-server-performance/
We need to ensure that we select the right profile for our systems.
We should probably just do this from '{{global_setup.sh}}'

Hi,
The build
http://jenkins.ovirt.org/job/ovirt-engine_master_check-patch-el7-x86_64/3...
failed with the following error:
*05:03:18* [ERROR] Failed to execute goal
org.codehaus.mojo:findbugs-maven-plugin:3.0.3:findbugs (default-cli)
on project webadmin: Execution default-cli of goal
org.codehaus.mojo:findbugs-maven-plugin:3.0.3:findbugs failed: Java
returned: 137 -> [Help 1]
After some googling it looks like this might be an out of memory error of
the process. I understand from Alona that this is a know issue.
Could you please:
1. re-trigger the build
2. look into the issue... :-)
Thanks,
Eitan

Hi,
A previous mail a few days ago caused me to be auto-assigned a JIRA
account to this address, but the password cannot be reset. It instead
states an error:
"The password could not be changed by the credentials provider. This
structure only supports synchronising"
How do I actually log in?
Thanks,
Greg
