I hesitate to add the automation dir to upstream KubeVirt, as it is such a generic term
which does not fit there.
My suggestion would be to add support for an {code}.ovirtci{code} file to generate the
necessary automation/ dir.

a job is needed which will build the following image:
https://github.com/kubevirt/demo
$ make clean build check
should do the job. virt-builder and guestfish are used.
