So it wasn't just me. Maybe this is some interaction with the browser.
I've seen it with firefox, haven't tried others.

Still after logging out, the link remains hidden.
Is it possible to have it always visible somewhere in the upper left or right corner?
As long as there's a bug, we should have it visible.
