not enough space on jenkins.ovirt.org f16 slave

we have a space problem on the f16 slave for jenkins on 10-32-114-51. Jenkins Continuous Integration Server for oVirt is up and running!

fyi, oVirt project now has a Jenkins CI server[1] on http://jenkins.ovirt.org. The CI server runs various jobs on oVirt components *[2] such as ovirt-engine,ovirt-node,etc.. Every commit to gerrit.ovirt.org will trigger the job 'ovirt_engine' which will run 'maven' build and verify that the commit didn't break the code. If the commit did break the code, it will send an alert email to "engine-patches.ovirt.org" and to the commiter with a link to a log console containing the error. On success, the job will trigger other jobs such as "find_bugs", "gwt profiles", "create db", "unit-tests", each testing a different part of the code. In time, more and more jobs will be added to jenkins, which will allow us to catch bugs much faster than before, and to improve code quality even more. Email notification for unit-test build failure

Hi, I've noticed when unit tests failed, Jenkins does not fail the build and send no emails about the failure: no email was sent to engine-patches. Can we move the archives from ovirt-devel(a)redhat.com to ovirt.org? The list is mostly shut down, but we still get 1-2 subscription attempts/emails there a week. The people are pointed to the right place, but it would be best to move the archives and drop the list completely. Thanks Mike

New gerrit repo needed

Hi, Can I get a new gerrit repo added for ovirt-node-iso? An empty repo should be fine initially. The purpose of this repo is to package the ovirt-node iso image in an rpm for delivery. Ideally, this could be done as a sub-package of ovirt-node, but there is a chicken and egg problem. You need the ovirt-node rpm in order to generate the iso which you need to build the ovirt-node-iso rpm. We also need to keep the generation of the ovirt-node rpm and the iso image in separate steps so we could create multiple images from a single ovirt-node rpm. This would allow something like an update to a package that isn't ovirt-node to be included. For example, if vdsm had a critical update, we need to be able to regenerate the ovirt-node iso image without have to rebuild the ovirt-node rpm. Thanks Mike

how /community-activity page and RSS feeds work

Jason and I were working on updating Wordpress (*whew*) from a buggy version, updating the theme, and solving a problem I'd been worried about - the hacks we did to the Coraline theme. Jason put together a parent/child theme that Wordpress uses to make it easy to carry customizations to a theme. About the activity feed and page. There are two parts: 1. The sidebar that is shown on the front-page is a Yahoo! Pipes bundle pulled in with an RSS Feed widget. The Pipes bundle is "the latest from" all of the feeds comprising /community-activity. 2. The /community-activity page is a Wordpress hack that works like this: * There is a widget called "First Footer Widget Area" with an associated CSS class (iirc). I populated this area with a number of RSS Feed widgets that take the direct RSS from the wiki's latest changes and gerrit.ovirt.org activity for each project. * By default this footer widget appears in the footer of every page using the Default template. I created a new template by copying full-width-page.php to full-width-page-with-RSS.php. Then I copied the parts from sidebar-footer.php that call in the "First Footer..." content, putting that in to full-width-page-with-rss.php. Then I commented those sections out of sidebar-footer.php, which effectively remove them from the Default template. * The page 'community-activity' uses the "Full-width, no sidebar, RSS feeds" template (aka full-widht-page-with-RSS.php). * Now that we have the new child-theme arrangement, I copied the hacked PHP files in to coraline-ovirt/. - From here, do we just need to check the customizations against updates in Coraline?
