Re: [ovirt-devel] New design for the Gerrit UI
by Phillip Bailey
It looks great to me, except for one issue. The contrast between the box
around the active item on the second row and the header background color is
too low to make the active item easily identifiable. The same goes for the
box on the first row, but the underline makes it a non-issue. I recommend
either adding an underline to the second row active item or selecting a
better background color for it.

New design for the Gerrit UI
by Evgheni Dereveanchin
Hi everyone,
The Infra team is working on customizing the look of Gerrit to make it fit
better with other oVirt services. I want to share the result of this
effort. Hopefully we can gather some feedback before applying the design to
oVirt's instance of Gerrit.
Please visit the Staging instance to check it out:
https://gerrit-staging.phx.ovirt.org/
The new design is inspired by oVirt's main website. There is a known glitch
that the "Loading Gerrit Code Review" message is overlapped by the logo
when the UI is loading. If you spot any other issues or have ideas for
improvement feel free to respond to this thread or share your feedback in
the following JIRA ticket:
https://ovirt-jira.atlassian.net/browse/OVIRT-912

planned Gerrit maintenance
by Evgheni Dereveanchin
Hi everyone,
I will be performing updates on gerrit.ovirt.org during the next two hours.
Within this period the Gerrit UI and Git repositories may be unavailable.
I will follow up as soon as maintenance activities are over.

oVirt infra weekly meeting notes 30.08.2017
by Evgheni Dereveanchin
Hi everyone,
Please find the notes from today's meeting below:
PHX DC:
-
iSCSI move in progress OVIRT-1490
<https://ovirt-jira.atlassian.net/browse/OVIRT-1490>
-
half the data volume moved
-
Remaining VMs with large disks:
-
Jenkins (1.3 TB across 3 disks)
-
Resources (1 TB across 3 disks)
-
Mirrors (500GB across 2 disks)
-
HostedEngine (needs to stay on NFS)
-
Jenkins full update applied
-
OpenShift updated to latest 3.6 version
-
Gerrit 2.14 upgrade planned OVIRT-1450
<https://ovirt-jira.atlassian.net/browse/OVIRT-1450>
-
Mirror injection seems to break puppet
Other topics:
-
OpenShift online EOL in less than a month
-
Only monitoring remains on Alterway. Can we move it somewhere else
outside PHX? Need to ask community.
Action items:
-
Remove everything except user management from puppet code
-
Move the website to v3 as OpenShift Online is close to EOL
