Process for removing spam users

This came up over the weekend and I handled it (somewhat). There was a user that was confirmed and got an account created on the wiki. Their user page was then made an advertisement for some SMS related thing that had nothing to do with oVirt. On request, I deleted the page and blocked the user[1]. As I've done very little wiki administration in the past, I wanted to make sure that we have a consistent process in place for handling situations like this in the future. Any thoughts? Error when trying to push to gerrit

Hi all, I try to push to oVirt gerrit and get the following error: git push origin HEAD:refs/for/master Counting objects: 31, done. Delta compression using up to 4 threads. RPM-builds for CentOS

Hello all, I am one of the members of the oVirt Infrastructure team. We have, as you might know some servers that have been sponsored which we plan to deploy. As the selection of our OS, we've chosen to go with CentOS 6. We plan to install oVirt on these machines, but there are no packages available for CentOS, from us, as of today. To be a bit more precise, we're looking for a repo, just like the one below, but for CentOS 6: http://resources.ovirt.org/releases/3.2/rpm/Fedora/17/ The reason I'm sending this mail is to ask if someone would be willing to package it for CentOS 6. Preferably the people that already package it for Fedora. I might point out that I've heard there might be some progress on this already, and if it is, please forgive my ignorance for missing out on it. But if you have more information, do let me know, since we are very eager to get the nodes up and running. Thank you. -- /Alexander Rydekull

fyi, new server is up and running @ http://alterway01.ovirt.org:8080/ (i'll move it to default port 80 after the migration) progress is here: http://etherpad.ovirt.org/p/steps_for_installing_new_jenkins_master i'm planning to do the migration on Thursday with dcaro if possible. currently the server is working with existing private keys (so it has access to other ovirt servers), login with openid works (if you want to login, let me know and i'll set up the account for you before the migration). remarks and comments are welcome. Infra gerrit group and ovirt-release package ownership

I was looking at a reported issue with the ovirt-release package (missing dependency) and found out that the gerrit repo for this is currently owned by the ovirt-docs team. I think it makes sense to change this ownership to a group that includes the infra team. AFAICT, there isn't an Infra team currently in gerrit (or at least not one that I'm in). My proposal: * create an infra group in gerrit * add members of the infra team to this group * change ownership to ovirt-release from ovirt-docs to infra Thoughts, concerns? Thanks Mike

There was an (unplanned) outage of www.oVirt.org (Web) for roughly 5 hours, atleast. I dont know exactly when it started. == Details == The reason for the outage was some faults in the Openshift setup, not on our part but Openshift themselves. When another customer of their services got a heavy load under specific conditions it actually rendered "nearby" customers unable to function at all. == Affected services == * Any service using www.ovirt.org == Future plans == It is unfortunate that it happens, all we can do in a case like this is to try and learn how to detect these errors automatically and if they arise notify the openshift people immediately.
