[RFC] New API to create a random guest console password

Today user may set/change the guest console password and also its expiration time through Kimchi API. When passing an empty password, a random password is automatically generated. curl -u <user:password> -H "Content-Type: application/json" -H "Accept: application/json" http://localhost:8010/vms/blah -X PUT -d'{"graphics": {"passwd": ""}}' That way is difficult to handle when user wants to reset the guest password. We have a similar issue when we automatically change the passwdValidTo when it is expired - increasing it in 30 seconds. To clone a VM, try the following command: POST /vms/<vm-name>/clone. This is a work in progress! It's not finished yet and there are bugs! I'm only sending it now to get early feedback. I'm aware of the following issues: - BUG: cannot delete a recently cloned VM. This is because the clone function doesn't refresh the VM storage pools. I already started fixing this. - The storage volumes handling is not implemented. The current implementation should only work for DIR and NFS (well, it doesn't work completely because of the bug described above...). - The mockmodel implementation is missing. - The tests are missing. [PATCH] Edit Template redefined

New "Edit Template" will display all the related information into tabs of "General", "Storage" and "Interface". Due to unfinished back-end work, functions are not fully supported, which will be finished in the future work. Temporary disabled functions: 1) Multiple disk operation with multiple storage pools edit in template for which reason the add button in "Storage" tab is disabled. 2) iSCSI and SCSI storage pool add is removed since we are going to allow this kind of operation in the process of creating a VM. Hi all, I'm presenting here my proposal for the feature "Guest migration" which is expected to be implemented for Kimchi 1.4. Description Migrate guest vm within peer/host discovered by Kimchi peers using openSLP. In the first stage 1, only do migration will be supported, in stage2, migrateCancel and migrateMonitor will be supported. *Migration Mode: * 1. Support libvirt tunnelled transport managed by direct migration. 2. Only support Live migration mode. 3. Only support migration over TCP *Migration Capability Check* - Source libvirtd/client should be able to connect destination libvirtd. - CPU architectures compare(X86 vs PPC). - No PCI device passthrough. - In a shared storage pool and the pool can be access/write by destination. REST API Only one new REST command will be added in stage 1. [PATCH v2] AsyncTask: Improve continuous status feedback

One of the advantage of AsyncTask is that the background task can call "_status_cb()" multiple times to report the interim progress. However this is not properly implemented in "_status_cb()". The correct handling should be as follow. cb(message, True) Means task finished succesfully. cb(message, False) Means task failed. cb(message) cb(message, None) Means task is ongoing and the invocation is to provide progress feedback. The current implementation fails to distinguish "cb(message, False)" and "cb(message)". This patch fixes the problem and adds a new test case. This patch also extracts "wait_task()" methods in from the tests, adding a regular status report to allow developer know it's waiting for some task but not stuck on something. There is also two methods in tests that start a AsyncTask but do not wait it till finish, this will interfere with other tests, so the patch adds the missing "wait_task()" invocation for them. v2: Extract the common "wait_task()" methods to avoid duplicated code.
