Request for Fedora 20 VM
by Sandro Bonazzola
Hi,
Fedora 20 Alpha has been released and can be downloaded from http://fedoraproject.org/get-prerelease.
I think it's time to start running our tests and build nightly also on Fedora 20 in order to discover
possible compatibility issues.
Can infra provide a Fedora 20 VM for jenkins use?
Thanks,

Installing a vm on alterway02.ovirt.org
by Ewoud Kohl van Wijngaarden
I'm trying to install a VM on alterway02.ovirt.org, but the network
seems very unreliable. I gave it 31.15.26.5 and I'm not sure if it's our
host, but I often see 89.31.150.107 reply:
>From 89.31.150.107: icmp_seq=6 Destination Host Unreachable
This results into some packet loss / errors:
23 packets transmitted, 15 received, +8 errors, 34% packet loss, time
22026ms
I thought we could use 31.15.26.1 to 31.15.26.10 so I didn't think I'd
steal an IP from another machine. I also tried another IP (31.15.26.6),
but that gives the same result. Is there anything I'm doing wrong?

fake vdsm repo on oVirt
by Tomas Jelinek
Hi all,
I would like to ask you to create a new repo on ovirt to host the fake VDSM project [1].
The ovirt-vdsmfake would be a good name for it. I would say it should be enough to move the project
from github to ovirt (e.g. fork it) and not replicate the changes back as that project does not make
much sense alone.
I would be the maintainer of it for now.
Thank you,
Tomas

[ATN] vdsm yum install is missing pkg for centos & f18
by Eyal Edri
fyi,
as part of adding more verification jobs on vdsm, infra recently added a new job [1] that installs vdsm.
currently that job is working only on f19 and fails on f18 and centos64[2]:
Are there any plans to fix this soon? how users are supposed to install vdsm if those pkg are missing?
Eyal.

You could try using --skip-broken to work around the problem
You could try running: rpm -Va --nofiles --nodigest
