[Users] Unable to log on with expired passord

Hi, I am doing a POC of RHEV 3.2 VDI for a customer. Their users are located in an IPA server, and RHEV and IPA has been connected using rhevm-manage-domains. During the POC we discovered that users which have expired password cannot log on. They receive an Incorrect password error message. 1. They should at least receive a Your password has expired error instead of the Incorrect password error message as this is confusing for the user. 2. This creates a problem, as every time a password is reset in IPA, it's automatically set to be expired so the user will change password at next logon. Is there a way around this? I would like to see the user being able to log on the User Portal with the expired password, and then he will be asked to change his password as usual once he's logging into his Linux VDI machine. [Users] ovirt-engine-reports rpm for CentOS and oVirt 3.3

Good morning or whenever, I read what RPM I have to install here http://www.ovirt.org/Ovirt_Reports but I can not find any RPM for CentOS 6. I strongly searched around the web and in the different repo folders, as well as in the mailing list msgs, and it seems the production of RPM for CentOS has been disabled for whatever reason. Is there a private recipe to create them or get them an unofficial way (reports, dwh, jasperreports...) Thank you. -- Nicolas Ecarnot

[Users] How to pxeboot ovrit node into memory automatically?

Hi, I was following the instructions at http://www.ovirt.org/Node_PXE. My goal is to use pxeboot (iPXE) to boot the node entirely into RAM with rootfs. What I got now is an installation screen which requires a local storage. My system has no disk and this doesn't quite work for me. What's are the kernel parameters I need to use to boot the node into RAM automatically? I am OK as the first step with a stateless node. David

This wasn't documented anywhere that I saw but with the help of Itamar Heim and an well timed email to the list from Igor Lvovsky last night I was able to do this and wanted to send to the list a documented procedure for how to modify the metadata of the data domain prior to import as an export domain. [Users] CfP: Virtualisation and IaaS DevRoom at FOSDEM'14

Sessions should always target a developer audience. Bonus points for collaborative sessions that would be appealing to developers from multiple projects. We are particularly interested in the following themes: - low level virtualisation aspects - new features in classic and container-based virtualisation technologies - new use cases for virtualisation, such as virtualisation in mobile, automotive and embedded in general - other resource virtualisation technologies: networking, storage, … - deep technical dives into specific IaaS or virtualisation management projects features - relationship between IaaS projects and specific dependencies (not just virtualisation) - integration and development leveraging solutions from multiple projects Important dates Submission deadline: Sunday, December 1st, 2013 Acceptance notifications: Sunday, December 15th, 2013 Final schedule announcement: Friday January 10th, 2014 Devroom @ FOSDEM'14: February 1st & 2nd, 2014 Practical Submissions should be 40 minutes, and consist of a 30 minute presentation with 10 minutes of Q&A or 40 minutes of discussions (e.g., requests for feedback, open discussions, etc.).
