[Users] DNS for IPA in oVirt

Hi list,
I don't want to ask my question in the mail thread of Eduardo to avoid
mixing topics.
Can you give me more detailed information on how oVirt is using DNS
internally and how IPA users can work in the following scenario:

So in my case I have correct DNS settings (forward and reverse), but my
ovirt-engine host has a totally different IP address.
I didn't test SSO with Kerberos in user portal (maybe this want work),
but authentication with IPA user in user portal and admin portal is
working fine even with these totally wrong DNS configuration.

[Users] api question / create vm from template

hi,
i've been successful in creating a VM from a template, however, that VM is
a thin-provisioned one ? is it possible to make it a cloned /
pre-provisioned ? otherwise i wont be able to update/remove the template
when i need to ?
this is on ovirt 3.1

[Users] SPM is always contending

After the node acting as spm was (accidentally) put into maintenance
mode, the spm role is always contending. The original node doesnt take
the role back either.
About 10 instances were still running on the node when it was put into
maintenance.
I have ovirt 3.1.0-4 with a targetcli iscsi store.

[Users] Trouble in ovirt during install new host.

I update ovirt from 3.1 to 3.2 and now i have trouble. When I want
install new host in ovirt, its install failed. In log i see next:

Problem resolved.
The clue was obviously in the engine.log (FSCK error) but I couldn't see
what was needing an fsck or why this would prevent the storage of every
vm from being mounted.
I still dont understand the whole of the ovirt storage mechanism.
More information was in the node vdsm.log - It pointed here.
/dev/mapper/9ed5a2fe--ae4c--433f--a15f--2c710ed5156f-master
One fsck later problem resolved.

It seems like an old bug.
Since oVirt3.1 a lot of bugs were fixed in the edit nic dialog.
Maybe consider using ovirt3.2?
