both, but they are both slow because of an intensive javascript call.
ovirt-shell is a python CLI based on the REST API, have a look there :=20
http://www.ovirt.org/CLI#show
you can easily open a console (console <name>), start a vm in a nutshell=20
(action vm start <name>) or change a parameter (update vm <name>=20
--cluster-name <cluster>).
<tab><tab> is your friend :)
For all who meet this issue, we may run the same configuration. Mine is=20
a shared storage with 2 datacenters, 6 x 2TB FC lun, 20 hosts and more=20
of 200 vms.
I connect ovirt to foreman for provisionning and errata integration. I=20
haven't upgraded to 3.6.1 yet.

OVirt Host Network setup failed
by ovirt@timmi.org
Hi list,
I need your help as the network setup dialog is failing on my new server.
My host is a CentOS7.2 host with OVirt 3.6.1.
The automated firewall configuration failed by the way.
So at the beginning I struggled a bit with the firewall configuration. I
guess I sorted it our that the host is entering the operational state.
But while adding addition networks to the host I receive the following
message in the dialog:
Cannot setup Networks. Another Setup Networks process in progress on the
host. Please try later after refreshing the host network capabilities.
How can I solve this?
I guess there is a hanging task from the time the host was not responsive!
Best regards
Christoph

ovirt appliance for he on master?
by Gianluca Cecchi
Hell,
tried old link
http://jenkins.ovirt.org/job/ovirt-appliance-engine_master_create-rpms-el...
got 404.
Is it temporary due to some problem or did the link change where I can get
the appliance for HE with master packages in it?
I would like to see how Italian layout is, now that finally 100% was
reached in translation in master and simplify testing without installing a
new OS and oVirt packages in engine VM.
Just to know, otherwise I will proceed the manual way anyway...
Thanks,
Gianluca

Alpha version of the Ruby SDK ready for use
by Juan Hernández
Hello,
Version 4 of oVirt will include a new Ruby SDK. It is currently in
"alpha" status, but I think it is already usable. It is available from
"rubygems.org":
https://rubygems.org/gems/ovirt-engine-sdk
You can install it as usual:
$ gem install ovirt-engine-sdk
There are examples of how to use it in the source code itself:
https://github.com/oVirt/ovirt-engine-sdk-ruby/blob/master/sdk/README.md
https://github.com/oVirt/ovirt-engine-sdk-ruby/tree/master/sdk/examples
Any feedback is welcome, via this list, reporting bugs:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/enter_bug.cgi?product=ovirt-engine-sdk-ruby
Or sending patches to gerrit:
$ git clone git://gerrit.ovirt.org/ovirt-engine-sdk-ruby.git
Regards,
Juan Hernandez

Problem showing errata from main menu ( Errata on VM or Host tab shows correct )
by Paul Groeneweg | Pazion
I have configured spacewalk server and linked several hosts and hosted
engine to the spacewalk/satellite provider.
When I click the "Errata" menu item I still get an error:
"Problem retrieving errata: The engine is not associated with a
Foreman/Satellite provider. No errata for the engine are available." =>
http://screencast.com/t/aVfmJ21wTi
In the /var/log/ovirt-engine/engine.log I see :
2016-01-19 21:58:52,966 ERROR
[org.ovirt.engine.core.bll.host.provider.foreman.SystemProviderFinder]
(default task-21) [] Failed to find host on any provider by host name '
hostedengine.xxxxxxxx.nl'
The hosted engine hostedengine.xxxxxxxx.nl is registered in spacewalk and
when I go to virtual machines and click the hosted engine's Errata tab it
does show results.
I am running oVirt 3.6.1 on Centos 6 x64 hosts and hosted-engine too.
What is required to get the Errata tab working too?
Best Regards,
Paul

Did you check this _during_ deploy? Or after it failed?
Can you check again during deploy?
It should be inside a temporary sub directory of /tmp .
