Hi, I think that this is because of move to Keycloak https://ovirt.org/release/4.5.1/#keycloak-sso-setup-for-ovirt-engine (and documents referred in that section will help you) But yes, I think it is not very explicit in the way that moving to Keycloak doesn't necessarily mean removal of basic authentication, but in the context of ovirt - it did that.
