Actually to remove the the last domain in a DC the following steps
will do it in and clean up everything without resorting to manual steps:
1. Deactivate and then detach all domains in the DC except last one
2. Deactivate last domain
3. Remove the datacenter (this takes a while since actually the host has to contend for
SPM again, like reactivating the domain, in order to remove the DC)
4. DC should be removed and domain should remain unattached -> now domain can be
removed
5. Move host to maintenance and switch it's cluster to proper dc (should now be
possible since it's DC has been removed and is now blank) or move the host directly to
proper cluster
One thing to note when using force remove for DC is that it does *not* clean up the
actual storage - only references to it from the DB (and that is why it disappears from the
UI). You have to manually go to the host and clean the storage itself to free up that
space

Thank you Gadi,
I'll try this procedure as soon as I'll have time to experiment.
Was it already documented somewhere? In that case please forgive my ignorance.
