Hi Vojtech
Thanks for the info, I have been looking for a method of creating the
gluster cluster via cockpit on one of my three hosts but the only way I can
see is via the hosted engine setup. Is it a case that we need to configure
the hosts to use gluster storage with the cli commands prior to adding it
to a pre-existing non hosted engine?
you have to setup Gluster cluster first and then you can connect it as a
storage domain via engine UI (select Gluster in drop down menu when creating
new storage). Some documentation (with little bit outdated UI) can be found on
[1], section "Attaching a Gluster Storage Volume as a Storage Domain".
Check Gluster documentation how to setup Gluster cluster. For quick test you
can use scripts [2, 3, 4] - but please note these are not intended for
production use (e.g. turned off firewall etc, also use VDO which you may not
want to use).
