issued engine-report with 3.4

Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1; format=flowed

Hello,
I followed this http://www.ovirt.org/Ovirt_Reports for installing
ovirt-report in ovirt >=3.4 with centos 6.5
The installation was successfull, but when restarting engine, I can
connect very briefly in the webadmin before havinf a blank page. I
restarted the engine, and when I choose "report", it is the same. So my
webadmin was unusable anymore. I belived it was because a lack of memory
so that I increased it up to 6 GB (!) but it didn't change anything. I
had to uninstall ovirt-engine-reports jasperreports-server
ovirt-engine-dwh so as engine to be ok.
I specify that my ovirt 3.4.1 had been upgraded from the dreyou 3.2 repo
with a previous working engine-report.
Thanks for your help

Re: [ovirt-users] oVirt China User Group?
by 适兕
Hi:
Brian,
Thank for your reply. I'm glad to hear you want to support.
We are ready for domain ovirt-china.org, but have no VPS yet, I have
already requested CSDN(http://www.csdn.net) for free VPS, but need to wait
a week.
When the VPS is ready, I will request for you on how to sync website.
Mirror website is good choice, But your question is not a problem in a
short period of time, Because I don't think we can do innovation before
oVirt 3.5 release. I think our main job is translate and spread in the next
six mouths. I think when 3.6 kicks off, we can write English contents in
ovirt.org first and then translate them to ovirt-china..org.
I'm not already for local meeting, Maybe August? I'm not sure.

I would first of all try to install fedora 19 in a virtual machine and
install there then VDSM via the host deploy. Make it work without node,
so you can figure out what's the minimum requirements for the
configuration of the vm. Once you have the configuration working, you
can try again with the ovirt node, if this is not working I don't really
know what's the problem, the menu being stuck doesn't tell me anything,
however I am not working on node.
Fabian? Any Idea?

Creating a VM for Ubuntu 14 (Trusty Tahr)
by Bob Doolittle
Hi,
I notice that when creating a new VM and selecting the OS there is no
choice available for Ubuntu 14.04 "Trusty Tahr" at this time.
How much difference does the OS selection make? Would I be safer
choosing Ubuntu 13.10 "Saucy Salamander" or "Other"?
Thanks,
Bob

Can i do this with ovirt?
by Grant Tailor
What i want to do is have the hosts use their local storage..i do not want
to use NAS or NFS for storage of host or virtual machine data/files. I wan
each host to have their local SATA disks as their storage....just like in
Ganeti
Can ovirt do this?
It is ok to have ISO images on the ovirt-engine/management host but i do
not want NFS or Shared storage when it comes to the hosts in the
infrastructure.
Please advice.
Thanks!!!
