Af= ter I edited them so the engine could reconnect to the servers, I simply re= moved them one by one and re-added them to the engine dashboard. So far, th= ey are working as expected. psql engine -c "update vds_static update host_name =3D 'newIP' where gatewa= y =3D 'oldIP';" After, it complains about the networks being out of sync which is OK. Simpl= y reinstall the host =96 I had to remove them one by one first, add them ba= ck, then I was able to resync the networks without issue. Should this be used, always make a backup of the engine first. Yes, but then that DNS becomes a very bad SPOF for your system, so not a good idea for a production systems... -- Barak Korren bkorren@redhat.com RHCE, RHCi, RHV-DevOps Team https://ifireball.wordpress.com/ --_000_CO2PR0801MB07433E4078810547396D9A3FA6930CO2PR0801MB0743_ Content-Type: text/html; charset="Windows-1252" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable <html> <head> <meta http-equiv=3D"Content-Type" content=3D"text/html; charset=3DWindows-1= 252"> <meta name=3D"Generator" content=3D"Microsoft Exchange Server"> <!-- converted from text --><style><!-- .EmailQuote { margin-left: 1pt; pad= ding-left: 4pt; border-left: #800000 2px solid; } --></style> </head> <body> <meta name=3D"x_Generator" content=3D"Microsoft Word 15 (filtered medium)"> <style> <!-- p.x_MsoNormal, li.x_MsoNormal, div.x_MsoNormal {margin:0in; margin-bottom:.0001pt; font-size:11.0pt; font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif} a:x_link, span.x_MsoHyperlink {color:blue; text-decoration:underline} a:x_visited, span.x_MsoHyperlinkFollowed {color:#954F72; text-decoration:underline} .x_MsoChpDefault {} div.x_WordSection1 {} --> </style> <div lang=3D"EN-US" link=3D"blue" vlink=3D"#954F72"> <div class=3D"x_WordSection1"> <p class=3D"x_MsoNormal">Hello,</p> <p class=3D"x_MsoNormal"> </p> <p class=3D"x_MsoNormal">I was able to get this sorted out by editing the I= P=92s in the database.
