Hi list!
I got hold of an iSCSI lun and set out to test deploying the hosted-engine over
it (I've been successfully running hosted-engine over NFS since oVirt-3.4 and
have successfully upgraded it to 3.5 and jsonrpc communication).
Unfortunately, things didn't start well with a small issue when calling
hosted-engine --deploy
Due to the vdsm certs not being propertly generated:

After working around that doing:
vdsm-tool configure --force
I repeated the deploy command and answered every question. It created the VM
image, but ultimately failed to set up a password for VNC (for that is what
I chose to access the VM).

I attached the vdsm logs and will investigate more to try to give more info
to the hosted engine devs ;-)

New subject: OVIRT-3.5-TEST-DAY-3 - Monitoring Dashboard
Hi,
I tested Monitoring (UI Plugin) Dashboard (integrated with Nagios Monitoring) and ran into
several issues.
The nagios server installed smoothly and showed all the bricks and their trends. I had
several issues with
the plugin and have opened BZs.
1. BZ 1143018 Plugins are not refreshed on Webadmin reload
PluginDataManager seems to be ignoring symbolic links to files and directories in
/usr/share/ovirt-engine/ui-plugins
Had to manually copy the files and directories to the ui-plugins directory to get
the plugin to show.
2. BZ 1143041Plugin prompts for authentication
Once the plugin showed up navigating to the trends tab required me to authenticate
again
3. BZ 1143044Nagios plugin does not show trends
Once authenticated the trends tab does not show the images. Some issue with file not
found on the server
for a new Cluster C_34 I had created.

On my first try to hosted-engine --deploy I used screen as suggested by this command when
using ssh.
Then it wasn't clear that the egnine's host FQDN should be in /etc/hosts .
Once over this issue with Toni's help, I went forward with the installation, which
ultimately failed.

By my second try I was assigned a new iscsi lun, so I used this one for a fresh start.
This installation just went on forever, until I bumped into a broken pipe.

The third try was with the same target as the previous. Installation went further this
time but I got a message:
[ ERROR ] Failed to execute stage 'Closing up': Cannot set temporary password for
console connection. The VM may not have been created: please check VDSM logs
