Hi all,
As with the oVirt 4.5 Alpha Test Day[^1] I‘m checking out installing 2-node oVirt on hyper
converged Ceph.
This time with iSCSI (hopefully with failover multipathing) instead of NFS.

* Installation on iSCSI works fine (didn't test iSCSI multipath)
* Copy from iSCSI to Managed Block Storage works
* Creating a VM from that Managed Block Storage disk works
** Starting a VM with managed block storage volume works

Tried to reproduce it (see attached screen) after running and powering off
the VM,
But I didn't get any errors or failed operations.

Hi Shani,
thanks for checking. I want to use Ceph/RBD exclusively without any kind of
other shared storage in the cluster, except NFS or iSCSI for uploading, and
then moving over images to Ceph.
I did a screencapture[^1] of all steps required to get the error I'm
referring to.
Though this is only one of the errors I'm experiencing.

Does this fail only with a Managed Block Storage disk? Or traditional
image disks fail too?

Sorry that it took so long to answer (had to realize that half of the
underlying storage cluster disks are SMR drives, and the oVirt VMs didn't
start correctly).
Yes, I do see this issue with regular NFS disks as well (see attached).
Eventually related to locale? Installed everything in de_DE.

Hi,
I just recreated the issue with oVirt Node being installed on en-us, and
the web ui set to en-us as well.
Exported Chrome log for the exception.
ovirt-engine tries to access
`/ovirt-engine/services/files/spice/SpiceVersion.txt` while creating the
template, which returns 404, and it fails to continue.
This is a fresh installation from the newest ISO (as of writing).
