Hello I can see some examples of what I am trying to understand, but I'm still not quite clear, perhaps someone can help? I am trying to lookup a list of network names to pass to the ovirt_host_network, networks parameter. I have the networks in my hosts file like: # Logical networks net: hosts: v1234-test-vlan: net_vlan: 1234 net_vms: true v1235-another-test-vlan: net_vlan: 1235 net_vms: true And now I would like to loop through those entries to pass as a list to the "networks:" parameter of overt_host_networks. VM stuck in reboot

Hi All, I am running on 4.4.4.7-1.el8 I messed up. I was doing some weekend maintenance on VMs and some VMs needed to be stopped and some rebooted and I stopped one, thought I clicked on the next one and clicked shutdown. But... I clicked reboot and shutdown on the same VM, now it is stuck. The Overview in the engine shows the VM "Reboot In Progress" and it has for two weeks at this point, it was a fresh VM so I just created a new one until I had this figured out, but here I am. Cockpit and Gluster

Hello, I have a hardware RAID 10 array and want to use Cockpit to deploy a hosted engine with replica 3 Gluster. Should I pick the JBOD option for this ? Will my disk alignments be correct for my PVs, VGs, LVs and xfs formatting? I don't see RAID 10. I see where it was removed in 4.2.8 -- I think. Thank You All For Your Help !

For storage I have TrueNAS dedicated machine for NFS. hosts are all identical Lenovo thinkcentre m92 with (Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3470T CPU @ 2.90GHz and 16 GB of RAM). everything is connected with a physical managed switch over 1Gbps each. everything is setup without any additional configuration. There is only a single vm (hosted engine). but hosts are constant errors and warnings being presented and I am lost even from where to start looking. export a VM to export domain in 4.4.4

Hello, in 4.4.4 I see that I can import from export domain, but if I select "export VM" I can only export to a storage domain.... is this by design? What if I want to export from 4.4.4 and import into an older oVirt version? Thanks, Gianluca

hi ovirt 444 lxd, openvz in kvm have issues connecting to public network i can't to allow access to physical interface. In general i cannot seem to get containers direct access to the network e.g. in order to pull a dhcp address from my public network. I have tried macvlan, bridge mode, openvswitch as well. there are no connection issues on the baremetal server, but this issue exists on the kvm vm how to fix it?

Hi Matthew, this is a known issue for 4.3.6 release (OLVM or oVirt). You should check if your KVM cluster has VNC Encryption enabled; if this is the case you should: * disable VNC console for your Cluster (by OLVM/oVirt) * Comment out line "vnc_tls=1" in /etc/libvirt/qemu.conf on the KVM host. * Go to OLVM Web Console, Compute -> Hosts -> select <KVM host> -> Management -> Maintenance, then Installation -> Reinstall, to apply above change. * After above step reinstall KVM host, launch novnc VM console works fine.
