Subject: [Users] Steps to be taken while shutting down ovirt-manager and the nodes.
Hi folks,
After I shut down my ovirt-manager and the KVM (+vdsm) nodes and
restarted them my DB in the manager gave me errors... do we need to
follow some specific procedure while restarting the whole setup ?
Just follow the simple logic, going from the top of the stack downwards when shutting down
and then reverse is when turning on.
So what shutting down it's
1. VMs off
2. storage domains in maintenance
3. hosts in maintenance
4. shutdown engine host, and hypervisors
5. shutdown the SAN box
And vice versa when turning on, where you need to activate the parts that are in
maintenance mode
If after this something is wrong, please report

Rahul
