Subject: [ovirt-devel] unboundid-ldapsdk
Hi,
We are currently building unboundid-ldapsdk from svn.
The README file within our build job says:
LDAP Framework for ovirt-engine-extension-aaa-ldap
NOTE:
Until release of 2.3.7 and util upstream actually
releases source tarballs, we use svn snapshots from
svn at[1]
[1]
http://svn.code.sf.net/p/ldap-sdk/code/trunk
but looks like 2.3.7 and 2.3.8 has been already released:
https://docs.ldap.com/ldap-sdk/docs/release-notes.html
Should we now build from 2.3.8? Who's maintaining the package?
they just added a tag for 2.3.8, still refuse to release proper source tarball.
we can remain in the current version there is no actual need to bump.
but I tested 2.3.8 for sanity and it seems ok, it can be obtained out of svn from
tags/2.3.8.
