[Users] ovirt-engine 32bit

Hello,
I want to ask why is the ovirt-engine only available on 64bit platform in
the repo? I successfully run the jboss from the
repo and one compiled on a 32bit machine.
For me it seems that this is a limitation: for small deployments, the
engine can be setup on an already running machine.
And that machine can be quite old, but it will cope with the engine very
well.

[Users] Trouble making ovirt-node image

Hello:
I am trying to implement Ovirt in a testing datacenter.
I have installed Ovirt-Engine from rpm on Fedora 16 and all is Ok. I can
access the web management without problem.
My problem is with Ovirt-Node. I followed the guide in:
http://www.ovirt.org/wiki/Node_Building.
I used the same Fedora 16 installation for building the node iso. I
followed all steps, but the iso creation failed.
The docs dont say, but I had to install at least the ovirt-node-tools,
I don't know if also I have to install ovirt-node rpm from
$BASEDIR/rpmbuild/RPMS/noarch
The output of make ovirt-node-image.iso is in pastebin:

There is not yet a prebuilt image of Ovirt available?

Sorry if this message will appear twice, but I received an email that the
message I sent was too long, so:
I've tried to make today ~6 installations (all with qemu-kvm on cow
images). The installation finished successfully on 2 of them. The only
thing different on those 2 successes was that the password for the admin
user was not flagged as "weak". Maybe I was just lucky.

Hi,
I was thinking that maybe it may be helpfull to add at the end of
http://www.ovirt.org/wiki/Node_Building a way to test the newly
created iso. For me, it worked with this (presumably you have an
interface with ip 10.10.10.10 on the host):
qemu-kvm -m 512 -cdrom ovirt-node-image.iso -net nic,model=virtio
-net user,net=10.10.10.20/24,host=10.10.10.10,dhcpstart=10.10.10.20
In this setup it looks like the connection is only from the guest to the host.
Of course, you need to set a root password (as explained from my
knowledge only on this list) and after logging in to do dhclient eth0.
There is any way to specify a way to get the ip from dhcp at boot
time?

Hi,
I tried today to create a new iso, but each time it fails with this error:
Error creating Live CD : Failed to find package 'vdsm-cli' : No
package(s) available to install
The thing that is bothering me is that it worked ok yesterday.
All the steps I perform are those, as an ordinary user (it fails at
make ovirt-node-image.iso ):

[Users] How to connect VNC console ?

I just finished setup oVirt on FC16 (same host run vdsmd)
I can start VM but cannot connect console using VNC. No information
for connecting VNC available.
Although I can figure out which port VNC running, I don't know
password and it cannot be set or view from webadmin or userportal
console.
