[Users] Force certain VMs to be on different hosts

Is there a way to have certain VMs to be on different hosts? (assuming
there are enough hosts)
IE. I have a db cluster of 3 VMs. I would like each one to always be
on different hosts. That way if a host goes down my db cluster is
still happy while migration happens. Or if migration fails I am still
good.
Thanks
Scott

[Users] Otopi pre-seeded Apache redirect directive ignored by engine-setup 3.4.0 GA

Hi all=2C
I tried pre-seeding engine-setup (part of a from scratch self-hosted-engine=
full reinstallation) as per subject with:
OVESETUP_APACHE/configureRootRedirection=3Dbool:False
but the /etc/httpd/conf.d/ovirt-engine-root-redirect.conf file gets created=
anyway with usual content.
If needed=2C I can provide logs as soon as I manage to start my Engine VM a=
gain (just reported a separate bug on ovirt-hosted-engine-setup).
Obviously that's just a nuisance (comment-out/remove the ovirt-engine-root-=
redirect.conf file=2C restart Apache and it works as desired): I just wante=
d to notify it (can open BZ# if it helps).
Regards=2C

[Users] VM satelit is down. Exit message: 'int' object has no attribute 'replace'.
by Gabi C
Hello!

LIBVIRT Version:libvirt-1.0.5.9-1.fc19
VDSM Version:libvirt-1.0.5.9-1.fc19
oVirt Engine Version: 3.4.0-1.fc19
Upgraded took place with 3 Vm up and 2 down: first upgraded engine, then
after freeing one node at a time node of and updating it.
After upgrade when I try to run any of the 2 powered down machines, I get
"VM ......... is down. Exit message: 'int' object has no attribute

[Users] Clome thin provision to thin provision??
by Federico Alberto Sayd
Hello:
Is it possible to clone a vm with thin provisioned disks to another vm
with thin provisioned disks too?
Currently when I clone a VM from a snapshot, although I choose "thin
provision" in "resource allocation"->"Storage Allocation" from the
"Clone VM from Snapshot dialog", the VM is created with preallocated disk(s)
Is this the default or there is a problem with my engine/nodes installation?

Re: [Users] upgrade from 3.3 to 3.4 on fedora 19 failed
by Alastair Neil
I tried manually copying the directory /etc/ovirt-engine/sysprep to
/usr/share/ovirt-engine/conf, and then running engine-setup
I now get a different failure:
[ ERROR ] Failed to execute stage 'Misc configuration': function
inst_add_glance_provider(unknown, unknown, unknown, unknown, unknown) does
not exist LINE 2: select inst_add_glance_provider(
^ HINT: No function matches the given name and
argument types. You might need to add explicit type casts.
I am attaching the logs from both in case this was a bogus thing to try
-20140331175537.log has the original failure and the second in in the
other file.
Thanks
-Alastair
