oVirt All-In-One instructions for presentation?

Hi,
I submitted a tutorial proposal to LISA '14 called "Hands-on with oVirt," but it was rejected. However, we can still get oVirt in front of people if we rework it as a "lab."
Basically a lab is just a one or two sheet set of instructions that would describe to someone how to test out oVirt All-In-One in the LISA lab.
I know there have been demos of oVirt all-in-one at other conferences. Does anyone have a list of presentation-friendly instructions that he/she could share?

PS -- Actually -- the 'demo' doesn't have to be all-in-one, but I was thinking that would be easiest given the unknown lab hardware at LISA. If the lab is very powerful, I suppose attendees could try to setup separate nodes. I'll try to find out lab details.

I need a system to test oVirt and Opaque on, but I want it to be
super-low power and near-silent. Therefore I am thinking of grabbing
one of the new 25W AMD Kabini CPUs. Will oVirt work well on that
architecture? If not, what would you recommend?

Hi Guys,
It's bin a while :-). Luckily :-).
I have a quick question. Is there a way to change the default .localdomain
for the FQDN in ovirt?
I would be handy if we just had to fill in the hostname of our vm (we are
using 3.4, with the cloud-init feature) and he automatically adds our
domain in stead of .localdomain.

help, manager hard drive died (3.3.4)

So the ovirt manager hard disk died, 3.3.4 version, i can't get it to spin
up to get any data off.
I have an old copy of the manager database which was living on the manager
machine.
What is the best procedure for restoring my ovirt setup? I've not been able
to import the data store, only export and iso in the past.

My problem is that the Dasboard Button inside the Administrator Portal
redirects me to an empty page where =84Specified page not found=93 is =
displayed.

All the rest (e.g. clicking on show reports) inside the Adminitrator =
Portal
redirects me to the correct site for the Engine Report, so SSO its ok as
well. I=B4m also able to login as admin user to the Engine Report Site
directly, but in that case I=B4m not getting the =93Create Button=94, I =
see only
the Home, View and Manage Buttons. Also if I=B4m clicking on on the left =
site
to Resources, Webadmin Dashboards, CE it looks ok, the only Problem is =
that
I can only choose =93Default=94 and not my defined names=85

I=B4m running oVirt 3.4.1 with Jasper 5.5.0 based on Build: =

different sites and all of them have the same problem.

oVirt Mirrors

Hi,
I was wondering if there were any plans on drumming up an oVirt mirror
down in Australia. It takes me nearly a few hours just to grab all the
required packages to spin up a new box.
Alternatively, the mirror does not seem to support rsync. Is there a
recommended way to sync? (w/o ISOs)
