Hoste has available updates but nothing in yum

Hello all, I have 2 nodes in CentOS and oVirt 4.1 and since yesterday I see this event in dashbard pane Host ovmsrv05 has available updates: collectd,collectd-disk,collectd-netlink,collectd-virt,collectd-write_http,fluentd,rubygem-fluent-plugin-rewrite-tag-filter,rubygem-fluent-plugin-secure-forward. Actually collectd is not installed on my systen $ sudo rpm -qa | grep collect libcollection-0.6.2-27.el7.x86_64 $ And " yum update: brings no new packeage... what to check? Gianluca

Hello, I have a small export domain while doing a test. So I would like to temporarily lower down warning and critical to the minimum, so that I complete the test and then I re-enable default ones: Initial situation with "engine-config -g" CriticalSpaceActionBlocker: 5 version: general WarningLowSpaceIndicator: 10 version: general This is confirmed by what I see in RACTOREXP export storage domain general pane: Size: 49 GB Available: 38 GB Used: 11 GB Warning Low Space Indicator: 10% (4 GB) Critical Space Action Blocker: 5 GB I set both to 1 [root@ovmgr1 ~]# engine-config -s WarningLowSpaceIndicator=5 [root@ovmgr1 ~]# engine-config -s CriticalSpaceActionBlocker=1 Systemctl restart ovirt-engine [root@ovmgr1 ~]# engine-config -a|grep "Space[A,I]" CriticalSpaceActionBlocker: 1 version: general WarningLowSpaceIndicator: 1 version: general [root@ovmgr1 ~]# But the storage domain still shows the previous values in webadmin gui. Hello, yesterday I saw this message 3 times Add VM NUMA node successfully. and it seems to me that it was at the same time when I edited some VMs and in Console --> Advance parameters I set "disable strict user checking" Are they indeed related? What is the relation with NUMA? Thanks, Gianluca

Hosted Engine migration problems

Hi again: I thought I had fixed the hosted engine migration that was preventing me from updating the host the engine was running on. Today it let me migrate it from ovirt1 to ovirt2, and perform needed updates on ovirt1. When I tried to migrate it back to ovirt1 after the updates, I got errors that it failed migration. I tried an auto-migrate, and it claimed that the other two nodes (including the node it was running on) do not meet minimum requrements, specifically that they are not HA nodes....But I did explicitly set them up as HA nodes. Network issues

Need some help. I was doing some work on one of my ovirt hosts, removed it from cluster, and re-added it to the cluster to bring it back into my working cluster. I got a messege that my network's where out of sync. I accidentally sync'd up my working network, now neither of my hosts will bring launch my hosted engine appliance. While machines aren't currently mission critical, i do need to get these machines backup up and running. The network configuration is supposed to be 6 nics forming a bond network, my vlan's hanging off that bond, including my ovirtmgmt network.
