Hosts force fencing after engine upgrade 4.3->4.4

Hi, I was in the process of upgrading 4.3 to 4.4. First I upgraded the engine and the hosts are still 4.3. The engine has started fencing my hosts as there has been 1 (one) connection problem to VDSM on the host. I Basically, the engine at some random time connects to vdsm, this crashes (didnt on e4.3) and after a few seconds the engine issues a fencing and all my VMs are taken down .... This happend with multiple hosts at random times. Can this be attributed to the unmatched hosts? Or should I consider an engine restore to 4.3? activate incremental backup on disk with ansible ovirt_disk module

Hello, I've struggled for hours with enabling incremental backup on disk level with the ansible ovirt.ovirt.ovirt_disk module: - name: modify incremental backup state ovirt.ovirt.ovirt_disk: auth: "{{ ovirt_auth }}" id: "{{disk_id}}" backup: "incremental" But the disk never gets into an incremental state. What's the matter? PS: I know I can do the same with curl, but this is not what I want. oVirt v4.5 - Error updating oVirt hosts for ovirt-hosted-engine-setup-2.6.6-1.el8.noarch

Hello, Upgrading oVirt hosts fails via the ovirt Compute -> Hosts -> Installation -> Upgrade menu. I get the dependency error message below, when trying to upgrade my oVirt hosts running on Rocky Linux 8.7. Its oVirt repo version is centos-release-ovirt45-8.7-3.el8s.noarch. I have no chance to try it with RHEL or CentOS Stream. Yet another hosted engine deployment fails 4.5.2

New install (4.5.2) and back to square one - install fails. Now the ovirtmgmt interface isn't created but vnet0 is - no idea what the cause is as there's nothing in the setup logs. oVirt = 1 step forward 3 steps back - and now with almost no support as the project is heading towards the scrap heap - So frustrating. Deadline for this install is Monday so I guess it's back to 4.4.6 install followed by upgrade path - Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhg!

multipath active-passive vs active-active

Dear All, I have been using ovirt for many years. I've got six servers , two HPE MSA storage and a fiber channel network with two Brocade 8/20q. oVirt has got two domain storage, one volume for each MSA. Now I have only one MSA online. As you know multipath was configured throught vdsm. expired host certificate
