Hi everyone,
I'm forwarding this issue your way in case there are any OLVM developer contacts you can relay this to if needed.
Moritz, one of our developers who works on many of our platform integration plugins for LINSTOR, recently opened a GitHub issue in oVirt VDSM<https://urldefense.com/v3/__https:/github.com/oVirt/vdsm/issues/433__;!!ACW…> regarding storage volume behavior with our Cinderlib plugin.
Long story short, after some testing we found that OLVM + LINSTOR has trouble migrating VMs back to virtual hosts that have failed (such as a forced "poweroff" with VMs running) after the hosts are up and operational again.
It's been great working closely with all of you and everyone else from Oracle this year, and of course we want to make sure the LINSTOR storage plugin handles every expected use case in OLVM.
