IP change of a storage domain

Dear All, I have to change an IP address of one of my storage domains. How is safe that? There are a lot of disk what running from what and parts of some running VMs. I thought the whole procedure like this: - stop vms - remove storage domain from inventory - delete storage domain from inventory (is it needed?) - change IP - re-add storage domain as new to inventory - import disks from storage domain Need to re-add disks to VMs as new after the import? Or it will automatically? Is it will a new storage domain in the engine or will same as? - start vms Please check my todo list, where I'm was wrong. Thanks in advance, Regards, Tibor

CentOS Glance Image 7.5 and CloudInit Support

Apparently there's a bug with 7.5 and Cloudinit with setting static ip's. CentOS 7.5 isn't listed in the Image repository; can we pretty please get that added?

Changing name and/or IP of gluster bricks

I have an infiniband connection betweeen all three ovirt hosts. I have one gluster drive that goes over the infiniband, but the other one is running over the gigabit link. Is there an easy way to either change the host name of the bricks or change the IP to force the traffic over the infiniband?

Problem to remove live snapshot.

Hi , I am use an software to do vm backup that creates snapshot to do backup, and some vms was with problem to remove olds snaphost, I get this msg error: MergeVDS failed: Drive image file could not be found how can I remove this snapshots? Marcelo Leandro

oVirt: access external Provider through Proxy

Hi expert, 'ovirt-image-repository' storage domain created by default in my ovirt 4.2 environment , but unfortunate my ovirt-engine and ovirt-node machines sits in a private network where it can only access external services through a HTTP proxy. Is there a way to tell ovirt-engine the HTTP-Proxy to use ? Thanks, Xu

ISO Lost Domain

Hello Fellow users, Platform : Ovirt Engine 4.1 Problem : ISO Domain server has crashed. It is a separate NFS server. I am unable to replace the ISO Domain. I have the old one in maintenance but it won't detach. It says. VDSM command DetachStorageDomainVDS failed: Storage domain does not exist: (u'0ad098e9-65e7-494a-90f7-e42949da3f85',) Which is quite true it does not exist.. Any suggestions? Thank you

ovirt engine VM (xfs on sda3) broken, how to fix image?

I have a 4.2.7 setup hyperconverged, two deployed VM Engine images and i have 20-30 second network outage. After some pinging to start engine on host 1, then 2, then again 1 Engine image stuck at "Probing EDD (edd=off to disable)... _" as here: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1569827 I stop ha-agent, ha-broker on two hosts (to not trying to start Engine VM), Stop VM via vdsm-client VM destroy vmID="4f169ca9-1854-4e3f-ad57-24445ec08c79" on both hosts, but i have a lock (lease file) anyway ....
