Hi,
Let me start with our original ovirt setup:
3 domains:
1. Test/dev
2. Production
3. Sandbox
1 ovirt-engine on vmware.
After the update to 3.5 I created 2 new VM's. Both on oVirt this time on
domain Test/dev.
I ran engine-setup on both the 2 new vms (and of course a engine-setup
after the update to 3.5 on the engine).
These completed successfully. I added the logs of the 3 vms as attachments.
I can see everything of the Test/Dev environment. But the other 2 domains
are nowhere to be found in dwh...
You can download the logs here (link stays only valid until friday):

Hi,
I would like to understand the local storage purpose.
I was wondered are there any production systems using local storage?
Or in another way, how to use effectively the local hosts disks?
My ovirt purpose is so serve HA-VM LAMPs.
Thanks,
Arman.

Hi,
currently ksmd is a single process
and is thus bound to one core.
This leads to some scaling problems such as:
If you got a lot of vms on one host with huge amounts
of ram you can observe that the cpu usage by ksmd
goes easily to 100%.
I wonder if ksmd could not be split up
in child/worker threads, thus enabling higher density
of vms on one host.
or can this just be tweaked by altering values in
/etc/ksmtuned.conf ?
What do you think?

Hi,
I would like to propose Roy Golan as VDSM Fake (http://www.ovirt.org/VDSM_Fake) co-maintainer.
Your response would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
I have 4 node GlusterFS Distributed Replicate volume...the same 4 host node
i am using for compute purpose....now i want to make it HA....so if any
host goes down .....VM will not pause and it will migrate to another
available node...
1. Can any one have any document or reference to do this with keepalived...
2. I have one more node as spare...so if any host goes down and can not
come up again because of any HW failure...i can add it...but i didn't find
any way to add these bricks to volume...??
Thanks,
Punit
