activate incremental backup on disk with ansible ovirt_disk module

Hello, I've struggled for hours with enabling incremental backup on disk level with the ansible ovirt.ovirt.ovirt_disk module: - name: modify incremental backup state ovirt.ovirt.ovirt_disk: auth: "{{ ovirt_auth }}" id: "{{disk_id}}" backup: "incremental" But the disk never gets into an incremental state. What's the matter? PS: I know I can do the same with curl, but this is not what I want. oVirt v4.5 - Error updating oVirt hosts for ovirt-hosted-engine-setup-2.6.6-1.el8.noarch

Hello, Upgrading oVirt hosts fails via the ovirt Compute -> Hosts -> Installation -> Upgrade menu. I get the dependency error message below, when trying to upgrade my oVirt hosts running on Rocky Linux 8.7. Its oVirt repo version is centos-release-ovirt45-8.7-3.el8s.noarch. I have no chance to try it with RHEL or CentOS Stream. Yet another hosted engine deployment fails 4.5.2

New install (4.5.2) and back to square one - install fails. Now the ovirtmgmt interface isn't created but vnet0 is - no idea what the cause is as there's nothing in the setup logs. oVirt = 1 step forward 3 steps back - and now with almost no support as the project is heading towards the scrap heap - So frustrating. Deadline for this install is Monday so I guess it's back to 4.4.6 install followed by upgrade path - Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhg!

Dear All, I have been using ovirt for many years. I've got six servers , two HPE MSA storage and a fiber channel network with two Brocade 8/20q. oVirt has got two domain storage, one volume for each MSA. Now I have only one MSA online. As you know multipath was configured throught vdsm. expired host certificate

I'm running oVirt 4.4. The "libvirtd" service won't start and it appears to be because of an expired certificate. How do I create and install a new certificate on the host. Your help is much appreciated. -- Diggy ---

Hi, We're running oVirt version 4.4.8, vdsm version 4.40.100.2 and from a couple days ago some of our hosts are reporting the following error: VDSM <host> command DestroyVDS failed: General Exception: ("Found not_in_hw, expected ('???',)",) Seems that nothing has stopped working, but this is an error that shows up in the event list each minute (x each host) and is annoying. Not all hosts report this error, just a couple of them. As a fact, we had to downgrade the libvirt version on our hosts to version 7.6.0-6 because we found a bug that wouldn't start web VNC consoles with versions > 8.x.x. Not sure if this has something to do with it. Could someone shed some light on what's happening and how to solve it?
