Any ideas? [Users] Ability to select and copy the Event stack in ovirt web gui

Hi, What is the reason we cannot copy the event logs that we see in the bottom of the ovirt web gui ? It would be nice to have that feature... so that one can quickly send it to someone (maybe this list) and be able to express the sequence of things that happened while reporting a particular problem. I am using FF and no menu comes up, when i select all the events and right click, it would be good to support copy atleast... thanx, deepak

[Users] VDSM failing to start because iscsid fails to start

I just installed the engine and a few nodes from RPMs all on F16 per the instructions at: http://www.ovirt.org/wiki/Installing_ovirt-engine_from_rpm After installing the engine, I installed a few nodes by installing the minimal F16 package set + wget, configuring the ovirt repo on the nodes and using the 'New' button in the hosts tab of the engine GUI. The installation went fine, but after the nodes rebooted they were listed as non-reponsive. It turned out that VDSM was failing to start because iscsid was failing to start. I turned up the debug level on iscsid but didn't find any culprit. Manually force-starting iscsid and then manually starting the vdsm service caused the nodes to change status to Up. Anybody seen this or have any thoughts about what might be wrong? Dave

[Users] Host discovery failing due to host network being lost

Hi ovirt users, I was trying to check on IRC the below, did not get any replies, so sending this mail. Can someone help me understand what could be the issue that causing my managed host to lose network settings, when i try to discover it from ovirt-engine ? I have to then manually (using a remote console) re-setup the network.. it even overrites my ifcfg-eth0 file I see a new bridge getting added called ovirtmgmt and route entry corr. to that.. the ifcfg-eth0 also has that entry I feel that ovirt scripts running on the host should atleast take a backup of the ifcfg* files they modify so that in case of issues like these, user can login via remote console and restore the original ifcfg file.
