Hi i try to setup my self-host after i reboot it but when i try to run it the following error appear : Host "hostname" does not comply with the cluster Default networks, the following networks are missing on host: 'CiscoR,DMZ,DMZ-HP,ET,ExternalServers,SMigration' can anyboody help ?

Out of sync, hosts network config differs from DC

Property: default route, host - true, DC - false I have 4 nics. bond0 = 2 x 10g eno1 = ovirtmgmt eno2 = for vm traffic. eno2 says it's out of sync, hosts network config differs from DC, default route: host - true, DC - false. I have tried "sync all networks" but the message still remains See attached. Where can I look to fix the issue?

UPS with USB Support

Hi everybody, I'm currently setting up an ovirt solution. I have three servers with glusterfs. They run hosted engine. I configured the power management of the node for using idrac agent (I have Dell servers). The communication is ok but I don't really know if configuring power management is very usefull with only three servers. My three servers are powered via an ups which have only one usb port. I'm wondering what is the best option to shutdown the datacenter in case of power failure. I have read in previous posts that I have to write a script. So I think I'm going to : - install apcupsd on the node connected with the ups via usb - configure apcupsd.conf to lanch a script and send a mail - write a script to shutdown properly all the wm and to put the datacenter in maintenance mode What do you think about this solution ? Is there a better way to manage the vm's and datacenter's shutdown with the power management solution associated with ovirt host ? Regards, Florent

oVirt Node on CentOS 7.5 and AMD EPYC Support

Hi, I am currently building a new virtualization cluster with oVirt, using AMD EPYC processors (AMD EPYC 7351P). At the moment I'm running oVirt Node Version 4.2.3 @ CentOS 7.4.1708. We have the situation that the processor type is recognized as "AMD Opteron G3". With this type of instruction set the VMs are not able to do AES in hardware, this results in poor performance in our case. I found some information that tells me that this problem should be solved with CentOS 7.5 --> <https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHEA-2018:1488> My actual questions: - Are there any further information about the AMD EPYC support? - Any information about an update of the oVirt node to CentOS 7.5? Hi, I am new in oVirt and I'd like to get the clarification about the packages which support the function of Window guest agent from 4.2 release and how to build it. problems with aaa auth

Hi, We've got problems authenticating using ldap accounts on the admin/vm portal. It reports: "Unable to log in. Verify your login information or contact the system administrator." We're running RHEV version 4.2.4.5-0.1.el7_3. I've tested ovirt-engine-extensions-tool using 'aaa login-user' with my profile name and a username and it auths fine. I can't find any log that might give a hint as to why it is failing. The ui.log is empty. It is also extremely slow (it spends a lot of time "waiting for cache..." just to load the administration portal, as well as to log in. Thanks for any help, Cam

AMD Threadripper support

My Issue is that there isnt an option to select anything other than Opteron based AMD chips. Is there a way to add my CPU to the list? I have an AMD 2970wx Threadripper. I found an article stating that you can edit the postre database. But where do I find the info needed to add a CPU to the list? Also when I tried to follow the instructions, I get: -bash-4.2$ /opt/rh/rh-postgresql95/root/bin/psql -h localhost -p 5432 -U engine -W /opt/rh/rh-postgresql95/root/bin/psql: error while loading shared libraries: libpq.so.rh-postgresql95-5: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

renewing 3rd-party certificate

Hello, our system was using a certificate from a third-party CA that needed to be renewed. I created a CSR from the certificate and key, I replaced the certificate with the new one ( I also had to replace the CA certificate-chain). restarted the apache server but could no longer authenticate to our AD. I ran engine-setup, restarted the engine and also reinstalled the ROOTCA of our AD in the keystore. I got the system running but is there a documented procedure for updating 3rd-party certificates when authenticating to AD. Thanks, Paul S.
