ovirt and gluster network config

Hi, I have my 5 ovirt nodes up and running and starting to move forward with actual ovirt and gluster setup. I am using gdeploy for deployment. the play book fails saying /dev/sdb is blacklisted by filter? I am following the blog up and running on the ovirt site. It mentioned adding # disable multipath [script2] action=execute file=/usr/share/ansible/gdeploy/scripts/disable-multipath.sh to get it to work, but it does not work. The script 3 section after this does have the file=/usr/share/gdeploy/scripts/blacklist_all_disks.sh in it. What can I do to get past this? Also not sure if I should be modifying the script/play as I don't really want an arbitrator host - if I have 5 real hosts all with the same storage in them? (10TB in each) and it only account for 3 hosts, can I add the other two later or should I try to modify the playbook to include these initially? I am sure I will be setting this up several times before I get it right, but at the moment I can't get past this error. Any help would really be appreciated! Thanks

ansible role for setting up ovirt-engine development environment

Hi all, I created an ansible role for setting up ovirt-engine development environment. If you are not familiar with ansible, it's a tool for getting a machine into a specific 'state'. A role is a 'type' of machine, like 'db server' or 'web server' or 'dev rig.' Roles are 'applied' to machines. So you can apply the ovirt-engine-devel role to setup a working development environment instantly. It works over ssh or locally. You can see it in action here: https://imgur.com/a/FwEkmy5? Unable to start VM on host with OVS networking

I have a production ovirt setup that's gone through multiple updates over the years. At some point when 4.0 or 4.1 came out, I switched from legacy networking to OVS, and everything worked perfectly until I upgraded to 4.2. Since I upgraded to 4.2, I've been getting messages that the networks were all out of sync, but everything continued working properly. Today I tracked down the network sync problem, fixed it on one of my three hosts, and then attempted to start a VM on the host. It refused to start with the error message: "Unable to add bridge ovirtmgmt port vnet0: Operation not supported". From what I can tell, the xml being generated is still for the old legacy network. I completely reinstalled the node, using the latest 4.2.3 node ISO image, and it still doesn't work. In the cluster, the switch type is "OVS (Experimental)" (and this option can't be changed, apparently), the compatibility version is 4.2, the firewall type is firewalld and there's no "Default Network Provider". I suspect that my upgrades have somehow left my system in half OVS/half legacy mode, but I'm not sure how to move it all the way to OVS mode and I don't want to mess with the other two hosts until I'm sure I've got it figured out. Issue with console since recently

Hi, We performed no updates on our infrastructure and since today, on some guests (not all), we see the following error in the libvirtd logs 140085012483328:error:140760FC:SSL routines:SSL23_GET_CLIENT_HELLO:unknown protocol:s23_srvr.c:640: (process:375537): Spice-WARNING **: reds-stream.c:469:reds_stream_ssl_accept: SSL_accept failed, error=1 Other guests works fine. We are trying from Mac with remote-viewer and we use OS Version: RHEL - 7 - 4.1708.el7.centos OS Description: CentOS Linux 7 (Core) Kernel Version: 3.10.0 - 693.el7.x86_64 KVM Version: 2.10.0 - 21.el7_5.3.1 LIBVIRT Version: libvirt-3.9.0-14.el7_5.5 VDSM Version: vdsm-4.19.45-1.el7.centos SPICE Version: 0.14.0 - 2.el7_5.3 CEPH Version: librbd1-0.94.5-2.el7 And latest virt-viewer. oVirt web console for VM

Hi Team, I am able to 1) Create a VM 2) Create and Attach DISK and NIC 3) I powered on the VM but I am yet to provide the network configuration for it. So there is no IP assigned, It is in Green color with UP arrow. Now I need to connect to this virtual machine and login using Guest console, I saw a documentation : https://www.ovirt.org/documentation/how-to/guest-console/connect-to-guest-d… But it is not clear. *Use Case needed : * 1) oVirt is running in centOS say running in 172.1.1.1 2) I have a Ubuntu machine say 192.2.2.2, I used the Firefox browser to login to oVirt engine (172.1.1.1) 3) Since my VM is powered ON, I need to use the console to login from my browser. Error starting VM after update Ovirt node

Hi, i upgraded oVirt node to 4.2.3.1 version. After upgrade I can not migrate VM or run VM on the node. After viewing logs file i find several errors.
