Hi all,
I got the following question from another translator.
Could anyone provide explanation?
*File:*** AppErrors
*Resource ID:***VDS_GROUP_CANNOT_UPDATE_CPU_WITH_LOWER_HOSTS
*String:*** Cannot change Cluster CPU to higher CPU type when there are
active Hosts with lower CPU type.
-Please move Hosts with lower CPU to maintenance first.
*Question:* In this string, it says Higher / Lower CPU types. What does
this mean? CPU types are like Conroe, Penryn etc right?
Higher CPU means better performance or newer CPU?
Kind regards,
Yuko

why host deploy install packages except for vdsm ?
by Tolik Litvosky
Hi
I have noticed that host deploy installs several packages which are not
VDSM deps.
Its : tuned kexec-tools iptables-services.
If VDSM needs them maybe it can pull them in using dependencies?
And if not why are they installed.

Message "VM restart is recommended. Note that using the created snapshot might cause data inconsistency"

Hi,
After a Live Storage Migration Engine reported:
Failed to create live snapshot 'Auto-generated for Live Storage
Migration' for VM 'test'.
VM restart is recommended. Note that using the created snapshot
might cause data inconsistency.
Let's say we restarted the VM and everything is working fine.
In the snapshots tab, I see two snapshots: "Current" and a
"Auto-generated for Live Storage Migration".
We have the option to delete the "Auto-generated for Live Storage
Migration" snapshot.
Is there a chance that deleting this snapshot will commit it and corrupt
it's backing chain image?
Why is a restart recommended?

Hi all,
Here is another question:
*File:***org.ovirt.engine.ui.uicompat
*Resource ID:***openCustomPreviewDialog
*String:*** None of the above, take me to the 'Custom Preview Snapshot'
dialog.
*Question:* Could anyone please explain how this dialog is displayed in
the UI? Is "None of the above" referring to a list of snapshots
available for preview? If a screenshot is available, it will be very
helpful.
Thank you,
Yuko
