Changing disk QoS causes segfault with IO-Threads enabled (oVirt 4.3.0.4-1.el7)

We recently upgraded to 4.3.0 and have found that when changing disk QoS settings on VMs whilst IO-Threads is enabled causes them to segfault and the VM to reboot. We've been able to replicate this across several VMs. VMs with IO-Threads disabled/turned off do not segfault when changing the QoS. Unable to install oVirt on RHEL7.5

oVirt host deploy: disable multipath

https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1472356 There are 2 drives in my install that oVirt is claiming as multipath. I have tried blacklisting at /etc/multipath/ but that hasn't worked. Any better solutions? I need these 2 drives to be non-multipathed.

Out-of-sync networks can only be detached

Hi, I have a 3-node oVirt cluster. I have configured 2 logical networks: ovirtmgmt and public. Public logical network is attached in only 2 nodes and failing to attach on the 3rd node with the below error Invalid operation, out-of-sync network 'public' can only be detached. Network Address Change

Hi All: I just has a case, I need to change the oVirt host and engine IP address due to data center decommission I checked in the hosted-engine host there are some files I could change ; in ovirt-hosted-engine/hosted-engine.conf ca_subject="O=simple.com, CN=1.2.3.4" gateway=1.2.3.254 and of course I need to change the ovirtmgmt interface IP too, I think just change the above line could do the tick, but where could I change the other host IP in the cluster ? I think I have to be lost all the host as once changed the hosted-engine host IP as it is in diff. sub net. Does there any command line tools could do that or someone has such experience could share? looking for some ISV backup software which integrates the backup API

Hello, We are about to change our backup provider, and I find it is a great chance to choose a full supported ovirt backup solution. I currently use this python script vm-backup-scheduler (https://github.com/wefixit-AT/oVirtBackup) but it is not the workflow officially suggested by the community (https://www.ovirt.org/develop/release-management/features/storage/backup-...). I've been looking for a long time an ISV who supports such an API, but the only one I found is this one : Acronis Backup Advanced suggested here https://access.redhat.com/ecosystem/search/#/ecosystem/Red%20Hat%20Enterp... I ran the trial version, but it doesn't seem to do better than the vm-backup-scheduler script, and it doesn't seem to use the backup API (attach a clone as a disk to an existing vm). Can you suggest me some other ISV solutions, if they ever exist... or share me your backup experience?

USB3 redirection

Hi, I'm trying to assign a USB3 controller to a CentOS 7.4 VM in oVirt 4.1 with USB redirection enabled. I've created the following file in /etc/ovirt-engine/osinfo.conf.d: 01-usb.properties with content os.other.devices.usb.controller.value = nec-xhci and have restarted ovirt-engine. If I disable USB-support in the web interface for the VM, the xhci controller is added to the VM (I can see it in the qemu-kvm commandline), but usb redirection is not available. If I enable USB-support in the UI, no xhci controller is added (only 4 uhci controllers). Is there a way to make the controllers for usb redirection xhci controllers? OVN routing and firewalling in oVirt

Hello, how do we manage routing between different OVN networks in oVirt? And between OVN networks and physical ones? Based on architecture read here: http://openvswitch.org/support/dist-docs/ovn-architecture.7.html I see terms for logical routers and gateway routers respectively but how to apply to oVirt configuration? Do I have to choose between setting up a specialized VM or a physical one: is it applicable/advisable to put on oVirt host itself the gateway functionality? Install hosted-engine - Task Get local VM IP failed

Hi all, I try to install hosted-engine on node : ovirt-node-ng-4.2.3-0.20180518. Host needs to be reinstalled after configuring power management

Hi, I am running ovirt 4.3 and have found the following action item immediately after configuring power management for a host: Host needs to be reinstalled as important configuration changes were applied on it. The thing is - I've just freshly installed this host and it seems strange that I need to reinstall it. OVN and change of mgmt network

Hello, I previously had OVN running on engine (as OVN provider with northd and northbound and southbound DBs) and hosts (with OVN controller). After changing mgmt ip of hosts (engine has retained instead the same ip), I executed again on them the command: vdsm-tool ovn-config <ip_of_engine> <nel_local_ip_of_host> Now I think I have to clean up some things, eg: 1) On engine where I get these lines below systemctl status ovn-northd.service -l . . . "gluster-ansible-roles is not installed on Host" error on Cockpit

On a new 4.3.1 oVirt Node installation, when trying to deploy HCI (also when trying adding a new gluster volume to existing clusters) using Cockpit, an error is displayed "gluster-ansible-roles is not installed on Host. To continue deployment, please install gluster-ansible-roles on Host and try again". deprecating export domain?

Hello, I recently read on this list from a redhat member that export domain is either being deprecated or looking at being deprecated To that end, can you share details? Can you share any notes/postings/bz's that document this? I would imagine something like this would be discussed in larger audience This seems like a somewhat significant change to make and I am curious where this is scheduled? Currently, a lot of my backups rely explicitly on an export domain for online snapshots, so I'd like to plan accordingly Thanks!

Failed to add storage domain

Hi! I have installed oVirt using the iso ovirt-node-ng-installer-4.3.2-2019031908.el7. I the did run the Host-engine deployment through Cockpit. I got an error when it tries to create the domain storage. It sucessfully mounted the NFS-share on the host. How to connect to a guest with vGPU ?

Hi, I got vGPU through mdev working but I am wondering how I would connect to the client and make use of the GPU. So far I try to access the console through SPICE and at some point in the boot process it switches to GPU and I cannot see anything else. Vm suddenly paused with error "vm has paused due to unknown storage error"

Hi all, Since we upgraded our Ovirt nodes to CentOS 7 a vm (not a specific one but never more then one) will sometimes pause suddenly with the error "VM ... has paused due to unknown storage error". It happens now two times in a month. The Ovirt node uses san storage for the vm's running on it. When a specific vm is pausing with an error the other vm's keeps running without problems. The vm runs without problems after unpausing it. Ovirt-engine-ha cannot to see live status of Hosted Engine

I allready reinstalled many times srv00 node without success. One time i even has to uninstall ovirt* and vdsm* software. Also here one interesting point, after installing just "yum install http://resources.ovirt.org/pub/yum-repo/ovirt-release42.rpm" on this node i try to install this node from engine web interface with "Deploy" action. But, installation was unsuccesfull, before i didnt install ovirt-hosted-engine-ha on this node. I dont see in documentation that its need bofore installation of new hosts. But this is for information and checking. After installing ovirt-hosted-engine-ha node was installed with HostedEngine support. But the main issue not changed. Thanks in advance for help. SCALINGRed Hat Hyperconverged Infrastructure for Virtualization is supported for one node, and for clusters of 3, 6, 9, and 12 nodes.The initial deployment is either 1 or 3 nodes.There are two supported methods of horizontally scaling Red Hat Hyperconverged Infrastructure for Virtualization:* *1 Add new hyperconverged nodes to the cluster, in sets of three, up to the maximum of 12 hyperconverged nodes.* *2 Create new Gluster volumes using new disks on existing hyperconverged nodes.You cannot create a volume that spans more than 3 nodes, or expand an existing volume so that it spans across more than 3 nodes at a time* *2.9.1. Is there any reason for not going to distributed-replicated volumes ( ie: spread one volume across 6,9, or 12 nodes ) ? - ie: is recomanded that in a 9 nodes scenario I should have 3 separated volumes, but how should I deal with the folowing question *2.* If only one geo-replicated volume can be configured, how should I deal with 2nd and 3rd volume replication for disaster recovery *3.* If the limit of hosts per datacenter is 250, then (in theory ) the recomended way in reaching this treshold would be to create 20 separated oVirt logical clusters with 12 nodes per each ( and datacenter managed from one ha-engine ) ? *4.* In present, I have the folowing one 9 nodes cluster , all hosts contributing with 2 disks each to a single replica 3 distributed replicated volume. They where added to the volume in the following order: node1 - disk1 node2 - disk1 ...... node9 - disk1 node1 - disk2 node2 - disk2 ...... node9 - disk2 At the moment, the volume is arbitrated, but I intend to go for full distributed replica 3. Is this a bad setup ? Why ? It oviously brakes the redhat recommended rules... Is there anyone so kind to discuss on these things ? Thank you very much ! disk locked after export as OVA

I got a error in webui: VDSM ovirt1.ntbaobei.com command HSMGetAllTasksStatusesVDS failed: Volume Group not big enough: (u'Not enough free extents for extending LV d9f2378f-92f0-4bc1-96a8-20a0f2c575cb/c515a3f9-0590-4ebe-81c5-9d0993f1fec9 (free=848, needed=872)',) seems no enough space in the storage domain. ovirt-imagio-proxy upload speed slow

I am working on integrating a backup solution for our ovirt environment and having issues with the time it takes to backup the VM's. This backup solution is simply taking a snapshot and making a clone and backing the clone up to a backup server. A VM that is 100 gig takes 52 minutes to back up. The same VM doing a file backup using the same product, and bypassing their rhv plugin, takes 14 minutes. So the throughput is there but the ovirt imageio-proxy process seems to be what manages how images are uploaded and is officially my bottle neck. Load is not high on the engine or kvm hosts. I had bumped up the Upload image size from 100MB to 10gig weeks ago and that didn't seem to help. Hosted-engine inaccessible

Hi, I am currently experiencing a problem with my Hosted-engine. Hosted-engine disconnected after increasing / partition. The increase went well but after some time the hosted-enigine VM disconnected and has since been giving alerts such as* re-initializingFSM*. Though VMs underneth are running, Hosted-engine --vm-status: *"reason": "failed liveliness check", "health": "bad", "vm": "up", "detail"* There is no backup to restore at the moment. Use public-signed SSL certs?

I installed an SSL cert from a public CA (Let's Encrypt) on my engine, following this: https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-us/red_hat_virtualization/4.2/... That gets the regular web UI working, but I can't upload an ISO. I assume that I need to do something with the imageio-proxy service on the engine, but not sure what... I tried replacing imageio-proxy.cer and imageio-proxy.key.nopass, but that didn't work. I'm trying to avoid ever needing to install a special CA cert in browsers. -- Chris Adams <cma(a)cmadams.net>

reinstallation information

Hi, after a blackout one host of my ovirt not working properly. I tried to Reinstall it but ends with the following error "Failed to install Host ov1. Failed to execute stage 'Closing up': Failed to start service 'vdsmd'." I tried to start manually but it not start . Now, I would like to reinstall from iso ovirt node. After I put the host is in maintenance must I remove host from the cluster (Hosts -> host1 -> Remove) or I can reinstall without remove it? If I remore it from the cluster the network configurations I lose them or not? My ovirt version is oVirt Engine Version: 4.1.9.1-1.el7.centos.

Import VM from ovirt-exported ova

Hello, i installed a new oVirt 4.3.4 from scratch and am attempting to restore the VMs which ran perfectly fine on my last oVirt 4.2.8, where i exported the VM to the export domain and also as an OVA file. Importing the export domain fails, which i plan to debug later. But importing the OVA file via the Administration Portal also fails with Error ID: 1153 Message: Failed to import the VM to Data Center, Cluster. The VM name is still recognised by the import routine, which tells me the file is readable... Now my questions: Is there any option to try the same from CLI, hoping to get better clues for what is going on? Are there specific log options which could give some clues? Would it be better in general to import the VM from an export-storage domain instead of using a OVA export? Any hint would highly appreciated. Best

I am installing ovirt 4.2 on three nodes. I am using centos with ovirt cockpit. My /sdb is my boot disk and /sda is my local storage, When I started the setup with cockpit I selected the sda but the ansible script stay on sdb. I have fix all changing the playbook manually but in the execution the gdeploy tool stay blocked on TASK [Create Physical Volume] . I don't find any logs. How I can fix that?

Spice console very poor performance for Windows 10 vm

Hello Everyone, Maybe I am something wrong, but spice console seem to be very laggy and slow for windows 10 vms. I have tried both qxl and qxl-dod drivers, but no luck so far... As a notice, the Win 2012R2 vm console is running fine, the problem seems to only affect Windows 10. Any ideas, what should I do to sort this out ? Thank you very much ! Using a synology as an nfs storage

Hello, I'm setting up a 3 node cluster with the ovirtnode iso and a seperate server with the engine on and a synology for nfs storage. I have done my configuration and I'm able to mount the share manually on the node with a command. Also on the server with the engine on I can mount it manually. But when I want to do it through the webinterface to add a data domain it say the permissions are wrong. Any idea's on how to figure this out ? Kind regards.

You can attach the usb to an oVirt node and check the module in use there. Then you can try patthrough the device and check the module in use on the VM (if it's linux) or install the driver (if Windows). When I use cockpit to deploy the hosted engine I receive this error. I haven't found any way to connect USB to a VM other then through SPICE, but this method won't help as these dongles won't be on desktops. Is this in the road map of oVirt? Thanks

I think raid is OK. At least my setup has a raid0 of 2 HDDs. In the error message there is the command that is being executed by the playbook. Run it manually and if it fails - run again with more verbosely. Ovirt + Azure + AWS

Something i struggle with is I can't find any support for things like azure site recovery, azure backup or migrating to / from azure or AWS using oVirt, is there something i'm missing?

Hi, I just upgraded some ovirt node 4.2.8 to ovirt node 4.3.4 After a ...snip # yum update ovirt-node-ng-image-update snap... I rebooted, and afterwards I wanted to run a yum update like I was doing it with the previous versions, but ...snip # yum update --disableplugin fastestmirror,subscription-manager Loaded plugins: enabled_repos_upload, imgbased-persist, package_upload, product-id, search-disabled-repos, vdsmupgrade, versionlock Repository centos-sclo-rh-release is listed more than once in the configuration Excluding 76 updates due to versionlock (use "yum versionlock status" to show them) No packages marked for update Uploading Enabled Repositories Report Cannot upload enabled repos report, is this client registered? snap... "Excluding 76 updates due to versionlock" ! Many packages are locked via the yum-versionlock plugin, also many system packages like the kernel and python (well, these 2 got my attention because there were security updates published recently). Isn't it recommended anymore to update the these packages to the latest versions? Do you use modified packages (different from CentOS?) Is it safe to remove the versionlock? Best regards, Markus

It looks OK to me , but I'm no expert in that. In such case you will have 5 GB as a reserve, which you can reduce, just to be able to delete some data (in this case VM). The question that comes to my mind is - did you receive any warning by oVirt that gluster is almost full ? Hm ... Removing it from the gluster but not inside oVirt can cause a lot of headaches. Can you find that image in oVirt Storage -> Disks Sadly , you got no other option and the optimal approach would be to take the deletion from oVirt UI/API before the storage gets full. Ovirt has the option to notify you in advance. VM IPsec network performance

Hi, I have enable multi-queue feature on nic card and I am getting normal throughput as 26 Gbps. But when I am trying throughput test with IPsec I am getting only max 1.5Gbps. After looking at CPU usages, it is free more than 50%, I am not getting why low throughput in ipsec case. Below are my trial: 2nd, I tried to distribute multi-queue interrupt on mult-cpu but got same result. 3rd, I tried nic passthrough and enable RSS, I got good throughput and CPU usages. Please help me to understand how to increase vnet performance for VM. And also suggest me about ovirt setting. I have also seen some presentation in google around virtio-crypto but as I am using Guest and Host OS as centos 7.3, I can't use virtio-crypto device. Thanks, ~Rohit

What about setting the date and time manually somewhere at 2016 on all hosts and blockking ntp at all ? Then the certs will be still valid and can be renewed ? Just asking... The cache will not take immediately into effect. It is designed to save your cache disk and to load only repetitive data. Try to run your benchmark 20 times and you will notice slight improvement over reading the same object. Of course , you can use lvm cache in writethrough mode, but then it is recommended to use 2 cache disks (raid1 or lvm mirroring) . vm unresponsive cpu soft lock on heavy operation

Basic setup notes: 3 node HCI running oVirt 4.3.3 using nodeNG for hosts. Storage is SSD backed with 10Gb network dedicated to gluster with jumbo frames enabled. The ovirt management network (which also acts as VM network) is 1Gb network Hosts are dell R720s w/ 256gb ram and E5-2690 procs I have a VM configured with 16Gb ram and 6 virtual CPUs. When this VM does a heavy operation (in this case it's dumping a large DB from a remote server) the load spikes quickly. When this happens the VM becomes unresponsive and in some cases I get cpu soft lock messages. I'm trying to determine where the bottleneck here is and how I can prevent the VM from becoming unresponsive when doing heavy tasks. Graphics performance and Windows VM

Hello!, I'm wondering what would be a good fit for decent graphics performance on Windows 10/2016/2019 + oVirt/KVM. Is there some kind of offloading with SPICE?, should I use RDP instead?, will vGPU backed by Nvidia cards help somehow?. The idea is to build a VDI environment for Windows VM, probably using OpenThinClient or a custom Linux image at the endpoint. The clients will use office suites, Java IDE, AutoCAD and Sketchup. Issues when Creating a Gluster Brick with Cache

HE on single oVirt node

I installed oVirt node for oVirt v4.3.4 on a single server (default partitioning). I know a single node is not best practice, but fits our current need. Now, I am trying to deploy the hosted engine, but getting the error "Device /dev/sdb not found" (full output below). /dev/sdb does not exist. Changing to /dev/sda fails (as I would expect) with "Creating physical volume '/dev/sda' failed". There is only one logical disk on this server (RAID), which is /dev/sda. The process does not seem correct to me. Why would the wizard try to build gluster volumes on bare partitions rather than in a file system like root? What do we need to do to deploy the HE? I used Cockpit and "Hyperconverged : Configure Gluster storage and oVirt hosted engine". Since it is a single node, I selected "Run Gluster Wizard For Single Node". Zachary, The version lock is used by oVirt devs to prevent the system to update too far ahead of the oVirt level. Don't remove that next time. You should access the engine only by https://FQDN .IP should not be used. If you have some kind of snapshot (for example gluster) - you can consider reverting. Even consider restore from backup. I'm pretty sure that almost every failiure is recorded somewhere there ... (I am still new to advise location). Can ovirt implement FT functions

Hi, now that ovirt has implemented the HA functionality of Shared storage and virtual machines, that's great. In our daily use and maintenance, we sometimes need some functions of virtual machine FT. At present, VMware can realize FT functions based on VSAN. Once upon a time there was a colo project, using qemu virtualization, https://wiki.qemu.org/Features/COLO, is now no one is updated. I would like to consult ovirt about the project plan of FT.

SAN re-attachment error

Hi, I am running into an issue with my SAN storage on ovirt 4.3 I had an issue with the engine and re-installed and when I try to activate the SAN storage and DC (once linked) again, I get this errors: VDSM node2 command HSMGetTaskStatusVDS failed: Cannot acquire host id: ('fb14e013-15f1-49b6-b129-210517aca0da', SanlockException(22, 'Sanlock lockspace add failure', 'Invalid argument')) Invalid status on Data Center Default. Setting status to Non Responsive. The nodes can still all see the SAN and the LUNs. I have tried restarting sanlock on the nodes, but the error persists. I have a vm with a disk on the SAN that I do not want to lose. Any thoughts? Kind regards Kim

Reinstalling the whole infrastructure

Sorry if now everyone received this twice... --- We are running our ovirt 4.3 test infrastructure on 4 Centos hosts. Our self-hosted engine further manages several stand alone hosts as separate datacenters. We'd like now to reinstall the whole thing in a best practice way with oVirt node and a fresh hosted engine. We'd like now to reinstall the whole thing in a best practice way with oVirt node and a fresh hosted engine. We have planned to: - set up 2 of the 4 hosts with ovirt node - shut down the old hosted engine - set up the new hosted engine with the same name - move the VM's from the old cluster to the export domain in a maintenance windows - import the VMs to the new cluster - attach the stand alone hosts to the new hosted engine in again separate datacenters Is this way possible to go or are there other ways e.g. without the need of a maintenance window? I've searched and found similar errors in previous version deployments that were found to be related to bugs, but those were said to be corrected in version 4.3.3. I'm kind of stuck at this point. When adding the iscsi domain - it complains about the name. Do you have a local (to the cluster) domain that could have the same name with the name of the iscsi storage domain ? If tar fails to extract the archive - then the oVirt will also fail. Can you export a new OVA and test it before trying to import ? Unable to log into Administration Portal

I suppose I just keep striking out on recent oVirt updates. Today (22 June 2019, all previous updates have been installed successfully) I saw that an update was available for my Enterprise Linux Host (main oVirt engine, CentOS 7 x64), and I attempted to update it. The update failed, which had never happened before. I logged in via SSH and saw that the updates had been halted due to "yum versionlock." I cleared versionlock and proceeded with the update, which appeared to work successfully. I rebooted the system, which came up a-ok. However, I can no longer reach the Administration Portal page. The browser only hangs. I see the following: - type in the IP address to the server and get the https://<ip address>/ovirt-engine/sso/oauth/authorize page, which tells me: "The FQDN used to access the system is not a valid engine FQDN. You must access the system using the engine FQDN or one of the engine alternate FQDNs. Click here to continue." When I click the provided link, I get the same hanging behavior and it never loads the login page. - I was able to connect via Cockpit to https://<IP Address>:9090 and log in successfully as root after SSH'ing in and restarting the engine. There are no major issues displayed, and I was able to create a Diagnostic Report. Under Hostname > oVirt Machines, it will actually redirect me to the login page at https://fqdn/ovirt-engine/sso/login.html. The page will actually load after the redirect, but when I enter my admin@internal credentials it just hangs and spins. When I return to "Virtual Machines" in Cockpit, I have Host/Cluster/Templates/VDSM options, I see "oVirt login in progress" with a continually spinning circle, never actually able to authenticate. Attaching/Detaching Export Domain from CLI

We started to move some VM's using an export domain using thr WEB GUI which is fine but we want to do this from CLI(ovirt-shell or api). Cleaning up after failed task

Hi, Yesterday I had an AddDisk operation fail. The task is no longer running on the SPM but it's stuck in the engine DB and the failed disk is now locked. I've tried to clean it out using taskcleaner.sh, but either I'm using it incorrectly or it doesn't handle my specific scenario. There were no running tasks (-T returned empty set). There were two commands (-o) which I then removed (-r) but the Engine UI is still reporting the tasks. hosted-engine restore bug?

Hello everyone, im running on ovirt 4.3.5 For some strange reason the httpd service couldn't start on my hosted engine so i could not access the Web interface.After various unsuccessful attempts to fix it, I decided to restore the hosted engine. Following the steps: 1.engine-cleanup 2.db had to delete it manually using rm -rf /var/lib/pgsql/data 3.engine-backup --mode=restore --file=backup_file --log=log_file_name --provision-db --no-restore-permissions 4.engine-setup On step 3 it keeps coming with error messages "FATAL: Can't connect to database 'ovirt_engine_history'. Please see '/usr/bin/engine-backup --help'. i need to get this hosted-engine up and running so please advice

ovirt_vm ansible cloud-init ipv6 related

Dear oVirt Would you be so kind to help out clarifying if and how is IPv6 supported with -ansible / ovirt_vm / cloud-init boot protocol. I have created a VM template which by default uses cloud-init with following: [cid:image001.png@01D5251F.E55FEAA0] When I boot the VM from UI, each VM gets IPv4 DHCP and IPv6 DHCP6 address, default cloud-init setup and we have infrastructure for both IPv4 and IPv6. However, when calling same template via Ansible ovirt_vm, using following: cloud_init_nics: |~ - nic_name: eth0 |~ nic_boot_protocol: dhcp |~ nic_on_boot: true each VM receives only IPv4 DHCP and only IPv6 RA, but not DHCP IPv6. Looking at booted VM, following options are not set: * /etc/sysconfig/network => NETWORKING_IPV6=yes * Or /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0 => DHCPV6C=yes and IPV6INIT=yes We need IPv6 DHCP6 address , especially for registering it host with DNS AAAA record. You can also deploy a spacewalk-based system for central repository management. I am using uyuni project for local VM repo, but it should be able to sync the oVirt repos without any issues. Of course, spacewalk requires some basic knowledge but it's not a rocket science. Windows Server 2019: Driver Signature Enforcement

Hello, I’m running oVirt 4.3.0 and installing Windows Server 2019 with UEFI Secure Boot is impossible with the bundled VirtIO drivers. Windows complains about invalid signatures on vioscsi.sys. The only way to boot the system is halting the process with F8 and them selecting: Disable Driver Signature Enforcement. So, what’s the recommended way to solve this? There’s no signed drivers? Hello, Just would like to check if it really possible to convert old Centos6 based physical box into oVirt 4.3 VM? I haven't been able to find any success stories on this and process seems a bit complicated. As I understand it I need a virt-v2v conversion proxy + image with virt-p2v running on physical host which needs to be converted. ovirt-engine/api/imagetransfers - Indefinitely locked snapshot image if transfer does not start within 2 minutes

I've noticed an issue but I've not found any bugs related to this so it's not clear if it's a bug and just not been reported or if I'm missing something. It seems if using the ovirt-engine/api/imagetransfers call with a POST request such as say <image_transfer><snapshot id="b16290c4-6eef-469f-962d-31e9b76638e9"/><direction>download</direction></image_transfer> is done and more then two minutes pass (where the the ovirt-imageio-proxy/ovirt-imageio-daemon deletes the ticket), you can no longer download the snapshot image. I think this part is normal, HOWEVER the snapshot image remains locked indefinitely in this case. If the image starts transferring/downloading within the 2 minutes where the ovirt-imageio-proxy/ovirt-imageio-daemon ticket is valid, all is well and at the end of the transfer the snapshot image is automatically unlocked. oVirt 4.2.8.7-0.1.el7ev Anyone seen this before? SSL Error adding new host

Hello, I have i running cluster ad I have to add a new host. Current cluster has AMD type cpu, new host has intel CPU su I added a new cluster in same datacenter (datacenter default compatibility 4.2).
