[Users] oVirt Node Bootloader issue

Hello there I'm facing this problem and this has happened to me multiple times on different machines. I have two hard drives in my system (lets say HDD A and HDD B). I boot the system from the oVirt node CD to install it. Now I want the bootloader and the node installation both to go on HDD B and not HDD A. When I get to the screen which asks me to select the hard-drive for bootloader I use the arrow keys to select HDD B and press Enter (have also tried pressing space or just use tab and continue while it's selected). Then I get to the screen asking where to install the node. I select HDD B and unselect HDD A. I keep the partitioning setup as default ( have also tried manual and kept 5GB unused on HDD A). When I get to install part. It installs the node fine on HDD B as expected but it always gets the boot-loader on HDD A. This issue has wasted many of my days on different machines and I can't seem to find a way around. New problem with hosted-engine during "Configuring the management bridge"

Based on the vdsm.log, it appears I am hitting: *Bug 988995* <https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=988995> -vdsm multipath.py restarts mutipathd, cutting the branch vdsm sits on "multipath -F" is returning "invalid keyword: getuid_callout" and it appears that this is causing vdsm-tool to abort (although the command exit status is 0 and the bug report says that those are only harmless warnings). There is no workaround stated in that bug report. The only thing I've been able to find on this is http://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/spice-devel/2014-February/016063.html<http://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/spice-devel/2014-February/016063.html>. I was wondering if there have been any developments since then and if not, could somebody please provide more details on the guest-side virtual folder/icon that someone described. Thank you

[Users] Cannot Ping CARP/Spoofed address

Hi Guys, I'm trying to use Mac spoofing for a Carp setup which is not working out well. Following here: https://forum.pfsense.org/index.php?topic=68137.0 and here http://lists.ovirt.org/pipermail/users/2013-October/017217.html This should be working by: engine-config -s EnableMACAntiSpoofingFilterRules=false --cver=3.3 (The clusters are 3.3 compatible) In some strange way this is not working in any way. How can we solve this, as I'm out of options. Thanks! Matt

Connection hickups with Pfsense and Carp

Hi Guys, I'm facing some issues with Pfsense and a Carp setup where connections are not dropped but the connection is not stable. I have set macspoof on the vm that runs Pfsense, this because it needs it for Carp. My TCPdump actually give good results, a single P so that looks also well. I have tested this with things like sending emails and so on, uploading large files. It seems on sending emails that you most of the time have to canceld a send and resend it, sending goes well than. A tcpdump on such mailserver looks well. For uploading large images it seems that it's slow in uploading because of disconnects, also a good tcdump. Do I need to make specific settings on the vswitch or the real switch between ? Or is something else going on ? Cheers, Matt
