Why are we using RAW instead of QCOW2? I noticed that the template is also in RAW format. Is this the reason the instanced image is also RAW? BTW, I prefer QCOW2, because Gluster and other filesystems are still not supporting sparse files [1]. This release supports Hypervisor Hosts running Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.7, CentOS Linux 6.7 (or similar), Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.1, CentOS Linux 7.1 (or similar) and #Fedora 21. On Monday, Arrfab turned over the keys to a pairf of shiny new Fedora 21 ppc64le VMs running atop PowerKVM. I created a f21-ppc64le mock config and built a Linux from Scratch [1] toolchain with CentOS 7.1.1503 sources. This is necessary to jump back in time from Fedora 21 glibc-2.20 to CentOS 7 glibc-2.17. I then proceeded to build enough ppc64le.el7 rpms with the LFS toolchain to construct a minimal c7.01.01-ppc64le mock buildroot. As of last night, the minimal c7.01.01-ppc64le buildroot is complete and I’m untangling circular dependencies in the CentOS 7.1.1503 source rpms. I’ve built 700 of 2523 source packages so 27% complete with this first pass. Next, I’ll bootstrap java-1.7.0-openjdk and continue to loop through ppc64le rpm builds with mock. In the next 1-2 weeks, I should have 95+% of the source packages building for ppc64le. At which point we can create the first CentOS 7 ppc64le VMs and rebuild c7.01.02-ppc64le atop CentOS 7 instead of Fedora 21. CentOS 7.1.1503 ppc64le Alpha images for the early adopters sometime after that. [ANN] [QE] Bugzilla updates for oVirt Product

The oVirt team is pleased to announce that today oVirt moved to its own classification within our Bugzilla system as previously anticipated [1]. No longer limited as a set of sub-projects, each building block (sub-project) of oVirt will be a Bugzilla product. This will allow tracking of package versions and target releases based on their own versioning schema. Each maintainer, for example, will have administrative rights on his or her Bugzilla sub-project and will be able to change flags, versions, targets, and components. As part of the improvements of the Bugzilla tracking system, a flag system has been added to the oVirt product in order to ease its management [2]. moVirt setup error

Hi I'm really new to oVirt and basically plan to work on moVirt for which I'm setting up the engine. I'm running livecd of oVirt on my machine because of some reasons it's not getting installed in the virtual environment(after booting it shows a black loading screen which continues forever). I used VirtualBox on Ubuntu and gave 6gb RAM to the machine. I have abondened virtual environment as of now. Now I boot the OS with livecd, the engine setup completes successfully and I can open the localdomain and add new VMs but I get this error when logging in the app(screenshots attached). My laptop and mobile are connected to different LAN ports(different IP addresses). There's no option of connecting laptop to same wifi(no wifi enable option in ovirt). Can I get some help please. I'm totally new to the working of oVirt but I wish to learn and proceed. Thanks Neha
