Probably dmidecode or python-dmidecode not installed :/ it's a bug in
safelease package build. I published new build 1.0-6 which will be
available soon.
It's related only to f23

External VMs support status

Hi,
oVirt provides a so-called "external VM" concept to control basic
functionality (start, stop, migrate) of VMs running outside oVirt.
What is the status of the external VM support?
I couldn't find any documentation to understand how to get oVirt
detecting VMs running via libvirt (outside oVirt).

The oVirt Project is pleased to announce the availability
of the First Release Candidate of oVirt 3.6.2 for testing, as of December
23rd, 2015.
This release is available now for Fedora 22,
Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.7, CentOS Linux 6.7 (or similar) and
Red Hat Enterprise Linux >= 7.2, CentOS Linux >= 7.2 (or similar).
This release supports Hypervisor Hosts running
Red Hat Enterprise Linux >= 7.2, CentOS Linux >= 7.2 (or similar) and
Fedora 22.
Highly experimental support for Debian 8.2 Jessie has been added too.
This release candidate includes updated packages for:
- ovirt-engine
- ovirt-engine-dwh
- ovirt-engine-reports
- ovirt-engine-sdk-java
- ovirt-engine-sdk-python
- ovirt-hosted-engine-setup
- ovirt-setup-lib
- vdsm

Automation CI for imgbased

Hey,
imgbased [1] is the layer management component in Node Next, leveraging lvm.
In the last days I've added unittests for this component.
After Ryan ramped up the jobs, I spent some time to fix the unit tests.
Previously imgbased was tested inside VMs to run the unit tests.
Now I moved to a fake LVM which is modeling the real LVm behavior, to
run the unit tests.
This is _much_ quicker, and much easier to handle.
To try it yourself, just clone [1] and run
$ make check

canDoAction is dead, long live validate ...

Hi
I had merged today a patch [1] that renames canDoAction to validate in CommandBase and all references
Please note that canDo boolean flags where replaced with valid and canDoAction was replaced all over with validate/validation all over the code including javadoc, comments and logging messages.
For example getCanDoActionMessages became getValidationMessages
failCanDoAction became failValidation
And so on ....
