[oVirt 3.5 Localization Question #8] "moveDisplayNetworkWarning"
by Yuko Katabami
This is a multi-part message in MIME format.
--------------040509040503050600080000
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1; format=flowed

Hello,
This is our last question for today.
*File:***ApplicationMessages
*Resource IDs:*** moveDisplayNetworkWarning
*String:***{0}. Moving the display network will drop VM console
connectivity until they are restarted.
*Question:* From the source comment "0=networkOperationMessage" I can
see that {0} will be replaced with network operation messages. I wonder
if each of those messages already contains a fullstop. If so, it will
have two full stops. Could you please give me the example of those
messages, so that we can check our corresponding translation in Zanata
(whether fullstops are included or not).
Kind regards,
Yuko

To prevent such errors in the future here are some ideas:
place the path to scripts and files in general into variables
then expand those vars when you want to write the path inside a file.
write tests to check if the path to a given file inside a config file
really exists, make them triggered by jenkins, never misspell a file
again (at least not in a release) :)
PS: There is also a test framework for bash, called bats:

tools page needs updates
by Alissa Bonas
Hi all,
The tools page [1] lacks a lot of info such as where the tools can be downloaded/installed from, how to configure and use them, etc.
I updated the image uploader section, if someone can do the same for the rest of the tools - it will be great.

Hello,
Sorry for increasing email traffic. I have another question.
*
File:***ApplicationConstants
*Resource IDs:*** motdHeaderLabel
*String:***Message of the Day
*Question:* Judging by the resource ID, it seems to be a label attached
to message(s). Is this shown on the actual day (today), or on a
particular day? (translation needs to be adjusted accordingly)
Kind regards,
Yuko

New oVirt Case Study: Judici
by Brian Proffitt
All:
I am pleased to let you know that I have posted a new case study about oVirt on ovirt.org. The new study is a small government project, Judici, with a big impact: managing the court documentation for 68 of the 102 county courts in the State of Illinois.
Take a look[1] and feel free to spread the word though social media.
Thanks!
Brian
