[ACTION REQUESTED] please review new oVirt look-and-feel patch

Hi, A while back, I sent out an email for the new oVirt look-and-feel feature [1]. The new look and feel patch is ready for both code and UI review. At this point we're not looking for design review, although you are welcome to suggest design improvements. I'm mostly looking for help regression testing the entire UI. Especially if you're an oVirt *UI* developer, please download the patch and try it [2]. The patch introduces some new CSS globally, and I had to adjust many screens and dialogs. It's quite possible that there are dialogs that I don't know about, so if you maintain any especially-hidden dialogs, please try the patch and verify your dialogs look good. And you can also just try out the patch to see the amazing new look and feel! Thanks for your feedback. RHEVM API for virtual machine hostname

Is there a way using RHEVM ReST API 3.2, to fetch the hostname(DNS name) of a virtual machine? There is IP address available under <vm> <guest_info> <ips> <ip address=""/> </ips> </guest_info> </vm> but, no way to fetch the hostname. Please guide.

[vdsm] NUMA support broken on UMA machines

Hi, Commit 9d3311320f6fcf190c99068b3f566e2bf9a49d99 "caps: Collect numa information" bruce <xiao-lei.shi(a)hp.com> Introduced reporting of numa-related information in the getVdsCaps verb. Unfortunately it also introduced a bug in machines without NUMA support. UI plugins: AngularJS Demo Plugin

Hi guys, for those of you interested in AngularJS, there's now a sample oVirt UI plugin available from samples-uiplugins repo: http://www.ovirt.org/Features/UIPlugins#AngularJS_Demo_Plugin (It's very similar to one presented in our recent "Writing UI plugin with AngularJS" presentation.) When writing UI plugins beyond simple "hello world", it's important to keep the code well-structured and maintainable; utilizing proven patterns like Model-View-Controller, Dependency Injection, etc. seems to be a good way to go. Of course, some JavaScript ninjas might do things in a different way. :) Regards, Vojtech

Question about plan/work for javascript SDK

Hi, Unfortunately I could not attend the tech talk Vojtech presented this week (I did attend the 2nd one about UI-Plugins and Anjular JS). I was wondering if 3rd party developers will be able to use the ovirt.js library/framework for developing JS-based tools around oVirt (let's say - using the MEAN stack). Not sure how much we gave thought to this, so I'm asking here Thanks for any insights on this, Yair
