Hi all, A jenkins job that ran as a check-patch for ovirt-system-tests failed [1] for me due to what seems to me like unrelated reason. It seems to have failed in [2]. This code does various actions with vm snapshots. At some point it failed with 'status: 404' [3]. httpd's log also shows 404 [4] in the end, after a long list of successful actions with snapshots. engine.log [5] shows no relevant error AFAIU. Is this reasonable? Expected? Not sure where the bug is, if at all. Lago and vm templates

Im currently neck deep in ovirt-system-tests and lago I see alot of usages about importing VMs from templates, but are there any examples of exporting a VM to template? Side note I cant find a good source of methods available for use in python-lago-ovirt (or even python-lago). The docs[1] are pretty lacking [1] http://lago.readthedocs.io/en/latest/lago.html

Host firewalld support patches merged

Hi, we have just merged patches [1], which adds the ability to use firewalld instead of iptables on oVirt hosts. The type of firewall can be defined per cluster, there is new combo box 'Firewall Type' in 'Cluster Detail' dialog. By default all new clusters will be created with firewalld enabled, existing clusters needs to be switched from iptables to firewalld manually and then invoke Reinstall on all hosts in a cluster. Be aware that firewalld can be enabled only for hosts with 4.2 capabilities (VDSM >= 4.20.0). Firewalld deployment is using Ansible role introduced in new ovirt-ansible-roles package [2], which executes ovirt-host-deploy role [3]. ovirt-ansible-roles package is installed automatically if engine is installed from RPM, but for development environment installation please take a look at [4], because ovirt-ansible-roles needs to be installed manually into development environment prefix. Jenkins job Build History

Hi all, Is it possible to make the "Build History" box in jenkins show some more information? E.g. Who/What triggered each build? This is especially useful for *manual* jobs, that are supposed to be triggered manually by users. Later, it's a bit hard to find your builds. Thanks, -- Didi

[ACTION REQUIRED] engine master branch was broken today

Hi all, It was broken by 7914051a (merged yesterday) and fixed by 7e27a47 (merged today). If you run 'engine-setup' with a broken version, it will exit silently with rc=1. If this happens, please pull from master. Sorry for the mess. Best, -- Didi

When using OST you get an engine on isolated network, that in order to make available you must tunnel. When tunnelling you end up with a URI with a uncommon port or hostname that will result an error while authenticating: URL: https://localhost:9000/ovirt-engine This displays this error: *" The redirection URI for client is not registered " <http://imgur.com/a/D0edf>*See screenshot <http://imgur.com/a/D0edf> Can we expose the expected valid redirect urls?
