Is there any way to suggest new packages be baked into the openstack glance images? Ie. the ovirt-guest-agent is missing from the atomic images, and pretty tough to install given that gcc, make, yum, and pretty much everything else is gone.

Publicly available REST documentation
by Jakub Niedermertl 19 Jan '17

19 Jan '17

Hi Juan, from time to time I'd like the REST doc to be available on some public site. It would allow us to * check the documentation without searching for running engine * be able to easily link documentations in irc/mails * link rest doc from ovirt.org site doc Recently I've also heard similar request from other guys (cc-ed). Would it be possible to for example publish generated doc of merged patches of ovirt-engine-api-model project? Maybe github project pages [1] of project mirror [2] could be used for hosting. Regards Jakub [1] https://help.github.com/articles/user-organization-and-project-pages/#proje… [2] https://github.com/oVirt/ovirt-engine-api-model

Hello All. We checked this with did and postgres connection error is not an error (although it prints stacktrace... cannot we not print stacktraces, please, for antyhing that we handle in code... it is really confusing when you need to find the root cause). The test is checking for dwhd to be up using systemd: testlib.assert_true_within_short( lambda: engine.service('ovirt-engine-dwhd').alive() ) that runs: /usr/bin/systemctl status --lines=0 ovirt-engine-dwhd lago.ssh: DEBUG: Command 90e98548 on lago-basic-suite-master-engine returned with 3 lago.ssh: DEBUG: Command 90e98548 on lago-basic-suite-master-engine output: ● ovirt-engine-dwhd.service - oVirt Engine Data Warehouse Loaded: loaded (/usr/lib/systemd/system/ovirt-engine-dwhd.service; enabled; vendor preset: disabled) Active: activating (auto-restart) (Result: exit-code) since Tue 2017-01-17 07:33:23 EST; 3min 4s ago Main PID: 22448 (code=exited, status=1/FAILURE) CGroup: /system.slice/ovirt-engine-dwhd.service dwhd log [1] has the following error: Error: Could not find or load main class ovirt_engine_dwh.historyetl_4_2.HistoryETL so this looks to be the actual problem. The latest job failed with this is [2]. This also affects 4.1, e.g. [3]. by Guy Chen 18 Jan '17

Hi After i am installing ovirt-guest-agent-common shutdown of a VM takes about 90 seconds instead of 30 seconds without the agent. I am running on rhvm 4.1 build 4, host, engine and VM all are rhel 7.3, agent version is ovirt-guest-agent-common-1.0.13-2.el7ev.noarch. Has anyone encounter this issue ?
